Came for the pinball, beer lines really need to be cleaned. Ordered a Pabst and sent it back it was so bad… they switched it for a lager but that also had a tinge of that never cleaning the lines taste… didn’t try the food. Service was good, environment was cool and pinball selection was really nice. Just get the draft beer lines sorted out and would be a 5 for me…

Edited: I’m glad to hear that and thanks for responding. I must just have caught it at a bad time for the lines.

There are two bartenders named Jess and both are cool and nice. The other staff are also good. 10/10 cold draft PBR.

Come for the cheap drinks and the games. Not for the forward leaning bartenders.

They've got a great selection of pinball machines—perfect for a bit of fun while you enjoy your drink or wait for your food. $5 hot dogs on Wednesdays! Delicious and a total steal. Definitely coming back!

I want to write a five star review for Lyaman's Tavern in Washington D.C. in the style of anyhony bourdain. This was just the bar I was looking for. A small hole in the wall just outside the confines of D.C. a place my friend and I chose to hide our faces for a short time while we gathered our thoughts from two days at the state captiol. We wanted a few Red Bulls and Vodkas but red bull wasn't on the minue. The bartender did her majic and made sure that we got what we needed. Shots of vodka were tall and the people minded their own business. This is a local spot full of pinball arcades and things that remind you of a simpler time. The clinentel is standard young crowd and it is LGBT friendly, if that is something that you are looking for. Parking was easiy to fiend because this little gem is tucked away into a small neihborhood.
Lyaman's Tavern, a hidden gem nestled just outside the buzz of Washington D.C., is the kind of place that sneaks up on you and refuses to let go. My friend and I, weary from two intense days at the state capitol, found solace in its unassuming embrace—a nondescript hole in the wall where the mundane fades into the background and the extraordinary takes center stage.

This is no ordinary watering hole. It's a portal to a simpler time, where pinball arcades stand as sentinels of nostalgia, and the patrons understand the art of minding their own business. The bartender, a master of her craft, conjured magic in the absence of Red Bull, serving tall shots of vodka that hit the mark with surgical precision.

Lyaman's caters to a diverse and vibrant crowd, including the LGBT community, ensuring that everyone feels welcome. Its tucked-away location in a quaint neighborhood offers easy parking, making it a convenient escape from the city's relentless pace.

In a world where the genuine often feels elusive, Lyaman's Tavern stands as a beacon of authenticity. It's a place to gather thoughts, raise a glass, and savor the moments that remind us why the simple joys matter. Cheers to the magic found in the most unexpected places
