Madam's Organ is a lively, local dive bar in Washington, D.C., known for its live music experience. Although the organ is no longer there, the venue features a saxophone and sometimes a guitar, creating a fun musical atmosphere. The place can get busy, especially on weekends, but it offers a great vibe with live music, which is a big plus. The upper level has opportunities for pool playing and people-watching, adding to the lively environment. The food is good, but portions are small, so ordering extra is recommended. The beer can be a bit stale, but overall it’s still enjoyable. The staff, including Miriam and Sophie, are friendly, but some visitors note that Sophie can be a bit overpowering. The service is friendly, and the overall ambiance makes for an awesome experience. Many visitors arrive around 10 pm on weekends, enjoying the different vibes on each level, making it a great spot for grown folks looking for a fun night out.
