I’ve been going to this bar for a year. Last week my friend simply asked a girl for her Instagram. She either gave it or politely said no. That’s all. I had nothing to do with it.
Today I went alone, and the security told me the manager ordered them not to let me or my friend inside. No reason. No explanation.
This is pathetic, unprofessional, and shows how weak and insecure the management is. Banning loyal customers over something this ridiculous is a complete joke.
And let me make one thing clear: my friend taking a girl’s Instagram is not a reason to ban anyone. If you didn’t want to let him in, fine. I still wouldn’t come back, but at least I would respect a direct decision. But banning me, someone who has been coming here every single week for a year, sitting quietly, drinking, and leaving without causing any trouble — that’s just dishonest and embarrassing.
I hope you are ashamed of how you treat the people who actually support your business. I’m done with this place. I don’t recommend it to anyone. There are far better bars that know how to treat people with basic respect.

If you’re in a group and need use the bathroom make sure you’re not on the third floor. There’s no bathroom up there and the bouncer will make your life living hell if you go to the landing to pee. I went to use the bathroom and then tried to go back upstairs to rejoin my boyfriend and my group after and was threatened to be kicked out. Horrible understanding of situation and I hope to never go back. Plenty of better, more accommodating bars in the area.

The establishment is great. Different vibe on every floor so it’s really good. First floor loud music, second floor clubby, third floor more chill. Have been coming for years. Issue I have is with a particularly aggressive bouncer, the very short Latino one on the second floor. Had to go back into the bar to get my jacket which had my house key in it. He didn’t want to let me but another cool bouncer did. Short latino bouncer physically pushed me out of the bar. Spoke to some friends about the guy and apparently he’s know for kicking people out and being really aggressive. But I want to say I like the establishment overall. They just need to not hire bouncers with a complex. Although even the other bouncers are really cool.

i’ve always had an amazing time at madams organ! the staff is wonderful, and karaoke nights with nikki are the best!!! ALSO the food is actually delicious. the patrons are diverse— you meet so many different types of people from all over the world. i’ve made some great friends coming here and i recommend it to everyone i meet!

4 stars for drinks, not the best tasting shots but they got the job done! Overall it was an awesome experience! Loved this bar and will definitely go back! The vibes here were immaculate. Also, live music is a big plus!

One of those places that's hyped up so much you wonder if it's all that, but it hits the spot for Southern cooking and blues.
The organ in madams organ is not there anymore, it’s more of a saxophone and sometimes a guitar. The beer….a bit stale but it’s good. Miriam, she’s nice, just make sure to give her a $20 tip per visit and you’ll be fine. Sophie, (Sophia but she likes to be called Sophie for some reason) she enjoys overpowering you, so I just let her. Little does she know I’m writing this review about her and I hope she has a panic attack (she looks like she has terrible anxiety). Well, what is there much else to say? Oh, there food, well I tried it and well it’s, well it’s good but the portions are so small you need another. I hope they put the organ back in madams organ and maybe more women too (you know madam? Get it?).

Arrived around 10pm on a Saturday and it was great! Live music on the ground floor and two different levels of vibes. I’m a 38 year old man too so me and my girlfriend were not looking for crazy club vibes. Grown folks on the ground level but a vibe throughout. Definitely check this place out.

Terrible. Went here for New Years Eve and the bouncer didn’t even look at my boyfriends (real) ID because it wasn’t a DMV area ID. He also had his global entry card, and when given to the bouncer he replied “shoulda shown me that first” ??? My boyfriend was also very patient and did not yell and they were still so rude to him. The bouncer on New Year’s Eve probably cost this business thousands of dollars by turning down real IDs. I know he has the right to turn anyone down but it was kind of ridiculous and he is obviously terrible at his job
