The ONLY place in DC I get chinese food from. They have massive portions and you can tell the ingredients are fresh. I always get lo mein, seasame chicken, wonton soup and a taro boba tea. It lasts me for multiple meals which is perfect for my busy schedule. Also, the owner is an absolute gem of a human being. She takes alot of pride in her restaurant and it shows in her kindness, hospitality and delicious food. Thanks for keeping me full and happy!

We loved Magic Gourd. The woman working there was friendly and the food was delicious. I liked that they had low-salt options without oil. We had the healthy beef and broccoli and it was delicious.

The food is excellent and fast.
You get more bang for your buck.
The decor is worn out and dated but gives it the typical charm.
There is no ice in the water, and those little things seem a weird way to nit pick, but it matters. I would go again mainly because the area is a food desert.

This was a very quiet spot. Food wasn't bad. but it was pretty unremarkable. Go here for some ok chinese.

A very convenient place to eat just before a show at the Kennedy Center. It's about a 5-7 min walk away. The staff was friendly and efficient. The food was excellent. If you're looking for a hidden gem (with a full bar) away from the typical DC eatery, this is it. I highly recommend. I personally enjoyed the drunken noodles with beef.

We stopped here because my son needed to use the bathroom. We ordered some boba teas since you had to be a customer to use the bathroom. I didn't have high expectations, but was pleasantly surprised that the boba and teas were top notched. The boba was soft and chewy and the teas (peach tea and milk tea) were well balanced in flavor and sugar content. My kids wanted to come back the next day to get more tea. Lol

I stored my luggage in the market place and found out about this restaurant after picking up my stuff. The owners were very friendly. I ordered fish and pea tips. Both were authentic and delicious! I plan to revisit this restaurant again when I am in town.

We had the dumplings in hot sauce, fried rice and egg rolls and everything was delicious. The customer service was fantastic and she really took good care of us and recommended the bubble tea which we truly enjoyed.

I found this little place by accident & now that I have, I’ll be a frequent visitor each time I’ll be in the DC area. The food was excellent, the service is what you’d expect in a large metropolitan area, but the setting was perfect, between Georgetown & Foggy Bottom.
