I was looking for a place to eat on independence weekend and they were open. I ordered combination fried rice, green onion pancake and spring rolls. Food had a little too much oil for my taste. I had green onion pancakes before in a restaurant in Los Angeles and they were awesome so I had high expectations. These ones weren't good. The rice was okay but again a bit too much oil for me. The service was good. They were on it, checking on the water and making sure we had everything we needed. It wasn't the greatest food but at least I was able to eat something before heading for the fireworks. The have a lunch menu and some deals during the week.

Great old school Cantonese restaurant tucked away in a residential complex.
Food is reasonably priced and is made fresh to order.

We went to Washington, D.C., for the first time and enjoyed this beautiful city. We went to eat at some places, but one of our favorites is this place. A family restaurant with humble and kind attention. The food is so good. We went twice. If we visit this city again, we will come back to this nice place.

Have you ever walked in to a restaurant and thought wow this just must be a front for something. Food was eh, veggies weren't cooked and tasted like it had just barely been heated up. But the issue was the people there. We were watched the entire time by one of the people working there and the person who took our order was acting like he was confused why we were even there. Could not suggest this place.

Stumbled here after a long afternoon sightseeing at the national Mall... Delicious food served quickly and very friendly server. Great fresh ingredients and reasonable prices for DC.

We did take out. Food is great, better than home. Walking direction is incorrect. You enter on 23rd Street.

This welcoming, family-run restaurant doesn’t try to be something it’s not — and that’s part of its charm. It delivers exactly what you’d hope for: fresh, tasty American Chinese food at affordable prices, served with warm, attentive hospitality. I’m a fan of the Kung Pao tofu, while my mom swears by the Lo Mein. There’s plenty of space if you choose to dine in, but the food holds up just as well for takeout.

Surprising find. Great Chinese food variety. Generous portions (my wife and I shared one entree and had plenty.). There's a bar in front, walk through.
