They are closed permanently and still showing open on google maps. Came here for nothing.

Oh my goodness! I'm diabetic and I should have kept walking BUT, I'd rather die happy! Small treats, somewhat pricey but worth every penny, every delicious bite. Little corner stop in Union Station.

The key lime cheesecake is soooooo good. My favorite bakery.

Their banana pudding is the best I have ever had. I also tried their German Chocolate cheesecake. It was a very dense and heavy cheesecake with a thick soggy bottom. It didnt really taste like anything but one giant lump of sweet cheese. The delicate flavors of grahamcracker crust and chocolate were lost. Mediocre at best.

STAY AWAY FROM BANANA PUDDING!!! Bananas were old, there was ZERO banana flavor, and the texture is all whipped instead of the silky pudding consistency it’s supposed to be. VERY DISAPPOINTED AND UNDERWHELMED!!

Bought a dozen cupcakes to go along with my wife's 2 dozen roses Valentines treat. Most overrated, overpriced and less than ordinary cupcakes. Don't be fooled. Their stuff are made by teenagers who seem to be just playing over the counter. Safeway $ cupcakes would be gourmet cupcakes compared to this wanna be New York bakery..

I went to the bakery specifically for the banana pudding. DON’T EAT HERE IF YOU WANT GOOD BANANA PUDDING. The pudding was over whipped.. more like a banana flavored whipped cream. Pudding isn’t supposed be whipped. Additionally, the bananas were overly ripe which alters the test of a good pudding. Also, had a nasty after taste. I did sample some cake/brownies that were out. Those were all good. If you visit the bakery stay away from the pudding.. you will be mad you wasted your money.

I had a cupcake from Magnolia's in DC (Union station) for the first time today. The cupcake was pretty enough however, the cake was crumbly almost like cornbread. Not very tasty and the frosting heard a bitter aftertaste. Don't think I'll do this again. Should've read the reviews!

I have tried cupcakes on 2 occasions at magnolia bakery and still don't like them. Overly rich (and not in a good way) and easily crumble.

Went there the first time because I heard about the banana pudding . First visit did not disappoint the banana pudding was amazing with a great amount of cookie to pudding to banana ratio . Second time was the total opposite , the bananas were bad and there were barely any cookies in the pudding but just shrugged it off as maybe a bad batch. Went a third time and it was exactly the same , and it was very disappointing to the point that I didn’t finish it . The one thing I value when going to a place is consistency with products , and unfortunately I don’t feel like gambling and giving this place another try and waste my money.

This was a pleasant surprise. Magnolia Bakery recently opened its doors in Union Station. I've only had the chocolate chunk blondie, and it was very well done. It was moist and had a good balance between the rich chocolate and blondie. Its located in the train station and will often have lines during peak times, like noon or 5pm. The prices are reasonable for this type of dessert centric establishment. My complaint is that they didn't have cheesecake available but promised they would have some later. Give it a shot I think you'll like it.

The go-to for bakery-like products. Tried the Earl Gray (7/10) as was being sponsored for the Downtown Abby movie & Carrot (8/10). Also tried their famous Bannana Pudding (8/10).

Went this morning for the first time, the shop is beautiful, the staffs very friendly and so far everything is delicious. Tried the Poppyseed Lemon Muffin, it had great flavor & density. The banana puggings very good, not my grandmothers but still very tasty and the carrot cake is to die for... that cream cheese frosting really sets it off. Highly recommend that you try them for yourselves!

I love banana pudding. I am often disappointed with commercial offerings. I was very skeptical of this tiny tub, that was nearly $5 (4.6-something as of writing this). Could that really pack a dessert that I would love and feel justified in the expense? For me the answer was yes. Definitely yes. The banana pudding was thick and luscious and full of banana goodness. I am tempted as I write this to go acquire another, larger tub and eat it for lunch. If the rest of their baked goods are half as delicious they will be well worth it too!

Two words: banana pudding. If you're like me, you aren't a fan of bananas in general, but don't let that prevent you from tasting their famous banana pudding. It's part cake, pudding, and bananas and it's perfect.
