Maikai Espresso Bar

This place is a pop up espresso bar which shares it space with other pop ups. It has a really cool vibe. Currently they are sharing the space with a Moroccan rug/furniture dealer and someone that sells plants. Last week there was a donut shop from Arlington. We stopped here to get coffee before walking to work and the guy working behind the counter was awesome. This place is across the street from my job and I only just discovered it this week...what?! I'm so glad they put a sign out on the sidewalk otherwise I probably never would have found it. The spot is such a great vibe, first of all. Since there are a bunch of different vendors that partake in this popup location, there's an eclectic collection of plants, tapestry, art, etc. Plus a wifi lounge so it's probably a good spot to get some creative work done. Maikai is the only way to start your day. Between Andrew and Ian, who will take such good care of you, the coffee is brewed thoughtfully from the moment of the roast and down to the measured pour. Even if you're not a brew n**** support this independent shop-- gift your bestie a nice plant and enjoy this sun-soaked oasis as a great remote work option! WiFi is very fast.
