Staff is extremely rude! We ordered coffee and had forgot to add pastry , we asked the staff at counter to add pastry she literally rolled eyes at us and took our order. When i went to the counter to pick my coffee and asked for my coffee order , the barista guy replied in very rude manner , honestly i was here just for a good vibe and coffee with my partner. Please hire someone with more compassion.

Charming atmosphere, plenty of seating options, and solid food.Went for breakfast and had the papas bowl and a dirty chai, both were grand. The staff ensured we had what we needed and took care to guarantee a pleasant stay.

Beautiful and chic interior. It really has the French Cafe vibe. However service was subpar. I ordered a few things to go, including the PBJ cruffin, only to discovered the orange chocolate cheesecake croissant cube.... in the box. Drink was warm. Arrg.. so disappointing

Used to really enjoy this place for breakfast and coffee but recently had a horrible experience and don’t think I’ll be going back anytime soon. My partner and I ordered 2 drinks online around 1:20pm and it said pick up time would be 1:59pm. A long window for 2 drinks but no worries. We show up at 1:50 and wait until 2:10pm before we ask about our drinks which hadn't been made yet. I showed the cashier our receipt and she said they didn’t see the order, asked other employees who all didn’t see the order, so the barista told me he’d make the drinks right away. They were not super busy, but he continued to make other drinks ahead of ours. Fast forward to 2:30pm still no drinks. We then went to the cashier again and asked for a refund since we just wanted to leave at that point. She said you’ll have to go through your original order method for a refund. We look online, and it says contact the store for order issues. ? A couple minutes later another cashier calls us over to process the refund and we finally left.. a waste of an hour and still didn’t get our drinks.

I’ve been to the locations in NYC and it was great! The Union Market location is subpar and lacking in many aspects.Prime example is the cookies - why even sell something that is as thin as a piece of paper and burnt……

Maman is very tasty and I love coming here but.. this happened. Needless to say I was a little disappointed I had to fight my food today in a dangerous way. Unfortunately, my turned my sandwich turned into a salad. The salad was mid, I’m sure it would have been better as a sandwich lol. Please don’t do this anymore Maman.

The service is unbelievably slow. Cappuccino tastes weak. Food takes forever & not sure if it'll be hot when served. The ambiance is overly decorated with fake plants (full of dust).
