Mama's Pizza Kitchen

Where are the owners...haven't seen them the last 3 times I went...the employees are ruining this place. Dry pizza, no sauce, just threw pepperoni on there... bread and cheese...thats it!

Nice people but I have never seen flies that big in D.C until I went inside of the establishment. There so many it discouraged me from ordering.

I always ask for my pizza to be double toasted bc when you add extra cheese it seems to not be done #adding cold cheese atop a hot pizza doesn't work for me...my main issue is when I ask for a longer cook time why the attitude #mangirl at the counter 😑 😒 sure I know its busy yet still you choose that job now do it is all I ask...they need to send that counter team to the Chick fillet school off Customer service.. if you know you know

I just had the best Italian sub ever. It was fresh and taste so good. Mama, made this sub and was just so good.

Good food, but unbelievably slow. Don't order unless you want to wait 90 minutes.

A grilled chicken salad is nothing but a bowl full of lettuce wings are way to salty

I ordered the beef lasagna tonight and boy does it taste good. I had to wait a considerable time, but the lasagna was freshly made in the oven for me! Definitely worth the wait! I will definitely come back whenever I’m in dc.

That’s one of the best New York style pizzas I have ever had. I recommend pepperoni slice which is massive size and most importantly delicious. The only minus is dining area which could be maintained in more clean condition.

THE neighborhood Mom & Pops family pizza kitchen of Anacostia. Mama is a very pleasant and in most situations the staff is at worst cool enough even during rushes.

This is primarily a takeout spot. You can eat inside but there's no A/C and it's not exactly a beautiful pizza parlor but you do you.

Wait times can stretch on Fridays and weekends but the pizza is so damn good it is worth it.

Great place for a jumbo slice any day.

Pizza was good, I’d come back. Caesar salad = no bacon, with croutons so big you better be careful or you’ll dislocate your jaw trying to eat them.

Pizza was delivered hot and delicious! Thin crust and was cooked perfectly! The banana pudding was delicious. My child enjoyed the mozzarella sticks- good cheese pull she said. Delivery driver was fast and super friendly!
