Used resort pass to go to the pool here for a day, and as it is not yet Memorial Day the outdoor pool grill isn’t open so I decided to grab a snack here after my day, and I’m glad I did. Food is quite good, I got the tuna crisps, which is more like a tuna tartare on top of rice & avocado, with fried wontons sprinkled on top and a spicy mayo dressing. Very yummy, fresh tasting tuna with no fishy-ness, and not bland like many other places. One of the better French onion soups I’ve had, flavorful but not overly salty. It was spiced perfectly in my opinion. Last thing I got was the steak frites. Great portion size especially for $31. Steak was cooked perfectly (I ordered in medium) and came with garlic butter on top. My only complaints are that I wish the steak had been salted a little bit more prior to cooking as it was a little bland, and the fries were closer to room temperature when they came out. Otherwise a great meal, and I would definitely order everything again.

Beautiful Bar & Lounge inside of the Omni hotel. This place has an old school upscale bar look with lots of glass and wood. My bartender was awesome, he had a lot of personality - - and he looked like Bruno Mars. I had a margarita and it was very tasty. I'd like to return to try the food next time because everything I saw the waiter brining out looked tasty.

Great place to have meetings and cocktails. They make a great old fashioned and wings are pretty decent. Bartenders are knowledgeable and they remembered my name everyday. I was there 5 nights during the Inauguration. Was easy to relax after long days.

Terrible service!!! Discrimination. Will NEVER be coming back!!!

On May 25, I visited the bar with a friend. Upon arrival, we asked the bartender for the name of the drink he had just made for a different guest, and he seemed kind of annoyed about that request. The bartender was disengaged and inattentive to us. In the middle of me giving him my drink order, he even stepped away, turned his back, and went to the back room to grab something. we didn’t think to much into it until we noticed that the bartender became super engaged when the guests were white. He seemed to explain the entire menu to them and seemed very attentive. We noticed this pattern over and over again. When guests were black they were waiting a longer amount of time to order. But when guests were white their orders were immediately taken.
At the end of the night we asked for our check and we kept waiting to receive it. Dispute the place being almost empty It took us 18 mins for us to finally get our check.
I spoke with a manager and the manager dismissed my concerns. He tried to gaslight me. My concerns were being dismissed, and the manager was deflecting by saying that the bartenders discriminatory behavior was a result of a stress environment. When i communicated my concerns to the manager, the manager was more concerned with telling me to justify and explain the bartenders actions even though he could have communicated that to the bartender. The majority of my interactions with the manager was spent on questioning my concerns. As I explained the situation further, the manager kept telling me he was “shocked” about what I was telling him.
He didn’t seem to have proper training on how to handle this situation.

This was the only food/beverage option open around 10:30 on a Friday night when I checked in. I ran down to grab a quick beer only to find that last call was over and they wouldn't serve anything. Not a great look for a bar advertised to be open until 11...

I was charged $25 for a glass of house red. The server made me feel very uncomfortable. This server is a complete snob and treated me like I was unimportant after asking for a glass of house red and telling him no to the $60 bottle of wine he was pushing on me! I was embarrassed because people were watching so I paid and left. I’m disappointed in myself for not standing up to him.

Environment is perfect for a cocktail before dinner, chairs are comfortable and the mocktail that my wife had was perfect.

Although the hotel leaves a lot to be desired, the bar is the jewel in the crown, with a cozy vibe it has left the very best impression on me. With their absolute hospitable, kind host and staff, and delicious burgers with a beautiful presentation, they really make the word hospitality come alive. I highly recommend the bar. Every time I go to Washington is a must-go. The service and pampering of the staff makes you feel at home, and they will make sure to go beyond, for their guests. They gave me one of the best experiences I had in D.C. Shout out to Hugo an amazing cook, Joseph the best bartender in town, and their manager Sunny, they are what makes this place as amazing as can be.

I have never given such a low rating bu this was just horrible. A lunch buffet for $33 per person while everything was cold and without taste. It was amazing how they can serve this. Never ever go there

The cocktail list is very well done and the cardamom old fashioned is incredible, although very strong.Service is great and atmosphere is what you'd expect from a historic, quality bar.
