I had the Chicken Quesadilla and the chicken tenders both was amazing as well as the service. It was slow with just a few people there when I got here but eventually picked up.

From out of town, I’m a big fish and chips guy was too told fish and chips were good. NOT! The fish and chips were pulled from the freezer and thrown into a vat. Very dissatisfied with fish, chips. Did not come with tartar sauce and when I asked the server Monica had no idea what I was talking about. Let’s move onto the fish tacos that were equally as bad. They tasted like a old dish rag. The salad was good and fresh. I knew there was going to be a problem when I overheard one of the patrons say” Oh I see you have a menu now”

This is my favorite neighborhood bar in DC! The service, staff, and hospitality are so incredible. For affordable drinks, delicious food, and lifelong friends I can’t recommend Marshall’s enough. This bar has seen me in formal gowns before symphonies and late night comfort bites. I’m a lifelong customer and always bring friends to an authentic neighborhood dive bar.
