03/15/2025- My family decided to go to this restaurant because it is new, it is one block from our kids school, and we love Indian foods! Now, this is not a super large restaurant. There is inside and outside covered eating spaces. The owners( family) are nice and polite. We all ordered Koroma with different things like: chicken with bone, shrimp, or lamb. Ordered Naan bread. Ordered Thai Hot Tea. Ordered appetizers: spinach rolls, and etc. The prices kinda pricey. We spent around $144 for three people. Great atmosphere! Nice bar area. We chose to sit outside in like a covered square tent like space. The weather was okay outside. We started at 6:30pm and closed it down around 9:15 pm because our kid was attending a “ Sneaker Ball” at his school! Loved the tasty delicious food. The chef took care of us. We will be back! Yum! Yum! Yum!

Food was alright. Lacked authentic Indian flavor, rather bland. Everything came in paper containers. I expect to eat in a proper plate and bowls at a sit down Indian restaurant. Left disappointed.

Staff is friendly, place is cute.
We were kind of taken aback by food quality and portion. The platters are all meant to be for one person, so we under ordered (and overspent). 100$ on what was reminiscent of roughly 3 quick small reheated airport take away meals.
Lowlight: Ultra confused and a little insulted by the single pieces of small rubbery naan and trader joes-esq roti for $3 each.
It was by no means inedible, but overall my dinner partner and I felt like we’d been tricked by the high reviews.

The vibe was so warm and friendly, and the food absolutely delicious. I wasn’t very hungry and I avoid gluten which is usually a chore to navigate at restaurants. But the restaurant owner recommended the Samosa Chana Chaat which was DIVINE. Perfect flavors, portions, This spot is nowhere close to home but I’m already plotting my return.

Being an indian i can vouch for the taste which was below avg. I ordered some curries which was not good. They served me precooked nans at the same price as the regular in-house cooked nans.
Price too much
Quantity toooo less
Ambiance: bad
Never going back again. I am not sure how it received that many stars but its just the hype.

I wish I enjoyed this place since I LOVE Indian food. But I’ve dined here twice and it’s bland, largely tasteless, and feels like the kitchen is cutting corners on ingredients. Will never go back- if you don’t know legitimate Indian food maybe this is fine but for a connoisseur, it’s downright awful.

I love this place. The food is great and the neighborhood gives me a taste of being a Washingtonian. When they take your order they make sure you get what you ask for and offers suggestions. I love the fact that they have great meatless options.
