We wanted a modern, clean, conveniently located hotel for our weekend getaway to see the Cherry Blossoms and just relax. The staff were super helpful. My wife is a nurse working midnights and arrived at the hotel early and they let her check-in so she could sleep. The room was very comfortable and tastefully decorated. The bathroom spacious with a large walk-in shower. Housekeeping will deliver ice directly to your room (Covid retractions meant no ice machines). The coffee shop downstairs had a small but decent selection of drinks, breakfast and lunch items for purchase. Valet parking is on the pricey side at $50 a day. There are some other parking options around but they vary as to when they are open.

Wanted a nice hotel near Logan Circle and The Viceroy was better than nice......it was perfect. The staff was incredibly welcoming and helpful, the room was beautifully updated and, THE BEDS..... were so comfortable, we couldn't wait to go to sleep! The bathroom was extremely roomy and sparkling clean . And the one detail that I really appreciated was a large mirror in the room, near an electrical outlet, with a metal shelf attached to place a curling iron.

I love this hotel! And, I love the friendly staff (Especially John B.!). I had tried a few local hotel rooms as alternative Covid office workspaces, and by far the room I got set up with at the Viceroy (a King Suite) was the best fit. The suite was spacious, stylish, and comfortable. I loved how the workspace was separate from the bedroom so that I could mentally switch gears when I was done working for the day. And, the large soaking tub was a nice highlight at the end of the day. The staff and hotel representatives were also very responsive to my needs and requests. The Viceroy is a gem. I will definitely be returning in the near future.

Looked pretty much average for 4.5 start hotel.Following were the issues I had :- The room looked unprepared .- There was not even water bottles in room , you expect some complementary water in your room when you step in.- The bath area was really small, you expect a bath tub when you book 4.5 star hotel, it looked more like public bath area extremely compact.- The guy at front desk needs to be trained better, needs to be more polite when you call front desk.

I appreciate that it’s always somewhat a gamble when you book a hotel at a heavily discounted rate, but I was disappointed with this hotel. The room that we got was very worn, the radiator couldn’t run without making extremely loud noises, the Chromecast functionality on the TV didn’t work, the phone in the room had bad audio quality, the sheets were not at the level I would expect at a hotel of this caliber, and two of the lights were burned out. It’s perfectly functional but I expect higher standards than that when booking a 4.5 star hotel — not recommended.

All around an excellent experience. Brand new hotel, doing their best to keep everyone comfortable. They will do even better once they open up the restaurant and rooftop pool area.
Great location. We parked our car on the street (valet is $60/night) and walked, caught the bus, and rented scooters to get around. Loved the decor of the lobby, common areas and room. The staff were very friendly. The only issue is the bed was hard and both my husband and I work up with back pains. However, I will stay here again during my next visit. Hopefully the mattresses will be upgraded.

Great location, charming staff, terrifically upscale eatery in the lobby, convenient valet parking, 25 minute easy walk to the National Mall, and best of all, the gorgeous room with its high-end bathroom and toiletries...all of this makes this hotel top-notch.
