Matchbox used to be one of my favorite restaurant chains. Now that it's owned by some big corporate company, it sucks. The drinks and food are expensive at the Mosaic location. and there for very few people there. It used to have such a great vibe; it was always full of people at the tables and the bar. please bring back the original owners!
I was visiting the DC area and wanted pizza, so I decided to try Matchbox. I love a meaty pizza, so I ordered The Pig, which was loaded with pepperoni, ham, sausage, salami, and bacon, and it was super cheesy! Most of the toppings were underneath the cheese. I chose a

Terrible experience with the kitchen staff.
I kindly ordered a meatball pizza without bacon, specifying this twice. My family and I sat in the booth next to the kitchen. I was enjoying the place until I overheard a kitchen staff member saying in Spanish, “This pizza has no bacon, right?” The staff member in charge of the toppings repeatedly denied adding bacon, even after being questioned more than four times by the same employee.
