Mayflower Chinese food

I love mayflower! Definitely my favorite Chinese restaurant in the area. Great sized portions and fast service. A lot of reviewers seem to be confused about the delivery system, they deliver through DoorDash, not their own driver. So all the bad reviews complaining about delivery should really be directed towards DoorDash. Anyways, great place and lovely family owned business!

Great food, great prices, nice people!
I go to Mayflower often because I absolutely love it. Moved out of Tenleytown but I still frequent because I can’t find a better Chinese restaurant in DC. They give a lot of food and it’s great prices!
Ignore the reviews about delivery, delivery is through DoorDash and therefore not Mayflower’s fault. Any issues with delivery are issues with DoorDash.
I love Mayflower and recommend it to everyone!

Have been coming here nearly 15 years and the quality of food and service has never stopped being 5 stars especially the chicken wings with rice topped with hot sauce! Best meal in Tenleytown!

Great place for Asian food. Everything is delicious and service was super fast and easy. Online ordering is very easy and straightforward. Fried rice is delicious and lo mein is delicious too.

Really good, it’s the best in the area! I got general tso tofu and sautéed vegetables and it was so yummy!

Not the best Chinese food, but, in a pinch, it satisfies. The lady who takes orders is always willing to substitute vegetables for me and my food is always ready to pickup within 15 mins of ordering. The Mayflower is a great neighborhood standby Chinese takeout. If you can lower your expectations, you'll be happy with their offerings.

One of the best carry outs in nw dc for Chinese food. Love the beef and broccoli, sesame chicken, and the wings! They have good proportions and make it pretty quickly. Definitely worth trying for a dinner or lunch at

Ordered the combination fried rice. Wasn't seasoned at all. Tasted like they boiled all of their meats.. Crisp and Juicy's Arrozs Chauffa, up the street by Mama Joons. Gives you the same portion plus flavor for a little less.

I found my new addiction, the boneless spare ribs at Mayflower! The flavor and quality is top notch, and the food is always served hot and fresh. I’m so glad this place is right by my work, it makes an easy dinner to pick up and take home.

Their mumbo sauce be a funky bright orange but it still smackin. The steamed dumplings are also the move

Haven't been here in over a decade! Wings still GREAT! The spicy I asked for in my combination lo mein was on point, but the rest of the flavor was a little lacking. If you're looking for ambience, this is not the spot, but definitely worthy of repeat for takeout.
