The Mayflower Restaurant, Lounge, & Garden

The DJ was amazing. I didnt care for how the staff was a bit rude and not saying excuse me when getting to tables but bumping you, or coordinating in the floor of a packed club and blocking the way even while I was saying excuse me in their faces. The look, feel, and vibe was beautiful. Very limited on seating. The DJ at the event I attended was AMAZING! (Amazon BEN event). There was a great video graphic person there, but not sure of where the video of me went. The drinks are a bit costly and Im talking $4 for a bottle of water that cost them maybe $1 per bottle. That is a bit unreasonable when you are making so much money from liquor. I dont drink, but having access to water in a crowded place for a reasonable price does matter. Overall,its a nice place.

The place is beautiful but the service is terrible I love visiting restaurants and writing good comments, but this place has a terrible service if you book at 9 the waiters do not warn you that they close the kitchen early I was hungry and the waiters serve you unwillingly they are not friendly enough

The food at Selva was a bit hit-or-miss, but overall it was decent. The service, however, was just fair and could definitely use improvement. For instance, we ordered a bottle of still water, and once it was finished, no one offered a replacement—instead, our glasses were refilled with tap water. Our plates were also cleared before we had finished eating, which was frustrating and felt rushed. While the restaurant has potential, the service needs more refinement, and a few dishes—particularly the shrimp tapas and the passion fruit flan—would benefit from significant reworking.

I had my Birthday party with VIP entrance and everything was reserved on time. In general we had a great time, started with bar at May flowers, ending with Zabbie's separated place to dance for us. It was fun

Me and my husband went to this club for the first time on Halloween and I will say at first we were not happy with the long line , we were at the point were we just wanted to go home but once we made it to the front we were nicely greeted by the bouncer with the glasses who complimented our costumes and apologized for the wait he definitely lightened the mood which I was not expecting at all bouncers tend to be jerks in DC , he was very professional , engaging and welcoming he even invited us back the following night and recommended us to the restaurant , the drinks were amazing the bartenders were quick and the ambiance and scenery was to die for , the only thing that I did not like was how packed it was it was so hard to move the the staff tend to push you around trying to get through the crowd but other than that I would definitely recommend this place 8/10

I will talk about the worst experience of my life and spending Halloween in such a nefarious place, the staff members pushed people in an aggressive way to the point of making them fall, the waiters passed over people and hit them when they passed by without apologizing or asking for permission, the administrator treated people with delirium of superiority regardless of nothing more than money, recurring consumers or friends, several people left their coats on a table and instead of asking or removing them decently, they threw them in the most hateful way to the floor to the point that the people who sat at the tables apologized to the owners of the coats, he also pushed people aggressively to pass and he saw everyone with annoyance, I have never seen such a bad administrator with customer service, so I am not surprised by the customer service of the rest of the bar, IF YOU WANT A BAD MUSIC, AWFUL COSTUME SERVICE AND THE WORST EXPERIENCE!!!!!! Go to Mayflower

This restaurant is absolutely filthy. I saw rats inside, which is completely unacceptable. For the safety and health of customers, this place should be shut down immediately. Do not eat here!

Don't loose anything security is not trained here properly instead of helping me the security guard wanted to argue. This place will never get my money again

Had my Twins 17th birthday dinner here with a group of 10. They were patient offered suggestions. We ended up with the 4 courses family style to try a little of best dishes. Absolutely amazing. Great ambiance great food great service.

Best club

We went there for Bollywood party and enjoyed the Dj and overpriced drinks ($18ea) tip added by default. But ambiance and music 🎶 🎵 was great, location and parking was good for us.

I've been here a handful of times for dinner and although it's always been a great experience, somehow it keeps getting better and better each time I go.

Some of my favorites:

✅ Empanadas with a flakey crust and a delicious ground beef filling and dipping sauce.

✅ 🗣️ Ceviche Tropical 🔥🔥 Just do yourself a favor and order this flavor explosion of fresh fish, mango & habanero. DON'T be afraid of the coconut milk, it's not overpowering and the flavor & creaminess added is ever so subtle and perfectly balances out the heat and acidity from the other ingredients 🤌 Chefs kiss

Many other dishes to recommend, not enough time to write them all out.

Also, the service is amazing. This time around I came by myself, and literally everyone treated me like I was there to see my friends 🫶

Parking is a bit of a struggle ngl, especially at dinner time on a weekend, but if you're patient, there is street parking and eventually you will find a good spot.
