While the ambience of meats and foods has an undoubtedly monastic quality, I am afraid to report that the product falls far short of chartreusian. As a chili lover and connoisseur, I was positively shocked at the bland and forgetful non-flavor of this pallidly hued chili, which in addition to its utter lack of depth had about as much heat as a late November evening in Lincoln, Nebraska.
