Man, this place is tops!!! The food is delicious. I came from a sandwich shop with sandwiches already in hand. I went in because the was a mariachi band and DJ. I ordered two plates, both were good. The Yuca is exceptional.
I was extremely disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. When I got in line, I was completely ignored by the staff and had to wait while they served other patrons who arrived after me. There was no acknowledgment, apology, or effort to manage the line fairly. For a place that prides itself on hospitality, this level of service was unacceptable. I hope they improve, but I will not be returning.

Customer service was amazing. I really felt well taken care of. In addition, the food was amazing and fairly priced. This is my go to spot when I am in town.

This food is authentic delicious food straight from the Island of Santo Domingo. I lived in NYC for 26 years where there are a lot of their restaurants and I visited Santo Domingo where you would know first hand what their food taste like and I would give Mechos one million stars if I could, I highly recommend it.

Food was great and the service was excellent. Big portions for the price. I did carry out so I can’t speak for the atmosphere but I would definitely recommend. Not from the area but if I’m ever nearby I would go back.
