I think ultimately you're paying for the bottomless boozy brunch drinks. But I wasn't even offered if I wanted a refill. The waitress was sweet but didn't check on us except for right after the food arrived. (Didn't even get a chance to taste it) The bread the brought before the food was stale , the fruit wasn't ripe. the French toast was “deep fried?” Also raw on the inside , my husband's eggs Benedict were not poached but also raw. The only good thing here was the sausage that came with the French toast. This place might the ok for college kids but NEVER AGAIN.
We go a lot weekdays and weekends. The last couple of times the meat has seemed to be of poor quality and super chewy. The waitress was good and crazy busy as it was a Friday, but the person who brought the second servings gave unproportional amounts of food to people assuming, I guess, that a 13 year old girl would eat less than a man? My kids are athletes and eat a ton so this was odd and the second girl this has happened. It never used to be the case- the second servings were always equal or close to it. In addition, the two types of beers ordered were warm. Will try again as it is a go to for us but it is not as good as it used to be food wise.
Consistently a great choice. The food is excellent, the location is easy to reach without worrying about parking. We recently (July '25) had a dad-daughter dinner with my 9-y.o. and the staff was fantastic.
$40 bottomless mimosas are such incredible value for DC - I was blown away! The steak frites were perfectly executed, the coffee was excellent, and that yogurt was like a delightful little dessert before the main course. You've created one of the best budget-friendly brunch spots in the DMV where people can actually enjoy unlimited mimosas with great food. Thank you for doing it right! I'll definitely be back and bringing friends.
We ordered our steaks medium rare, but they came out more rare than expected. While we're not experts, all four of us noticed it. Service also felt rushed and impersonal despite the place not being that busy. Hoping it was just an off night.
Great place for brunch. Max is an excellent server, as well as the entire team. Steak frites, salad, and bread are very tasty. Outdoor patio is nice.
Even knowing the menu is fixed and limited, I had high hopes after some recommendations, but it didn't feel like it was anything spectacular. The carrot cake was pretty good. We sat outside, so we accepted the street noise. I think it might be a one and done.

Food was great and service was awesome. Our drinks were always full and our service was fast. Will definitely be back
What's happened to the fries?? They're now quite dry and anemic whereas they used to be golden brown and delicious. The reason we come here all the time is for the consistent delivery of the same food and we like it all just the way it is. Even the presentation has changed. My friends left saying we'll need to try somewhere else but I like our tradition so hoping that was just a blip.

The food was pretty good enjoyed the french toast for brunch I would have picked somewhere else now that I've been there. Never could get refills on anything when you were supposed to and we were lucky to have one drink at all water, tea anything. Had to flag down someone just to get our bill.
If you're doing to do one thing, do it well. This place has gone way downhill since it opened. The steak was cold and chewy. The fries tasted stale. The music inside was so loud we moved outside. Then had the pleasure of metro fumes and insane wind gusts blasting our table every 5 minutes as we were seated above the metro grate. Service was slow and inattentive. Used to be a great spot for a fun, reasonably priced steak frites meal. Now it's a kitchen nightmare. Will not go back. Ever.
Managed by a very good manager ................... I think he tried and succeeded in making the team better
Loved it. Can't beat the value!! Sitting outside at the Cleveland Park location makes it all the more enjoyable!
I was so excited to go have a girls brunch here. Unfortunately, I was very disappointed. The mimosas barely had any champagne in them. At no point did I feel like I had alcohol. Next, the food portion was very small. For it to be an entree, it was a serving for an appetizer. Of course for the meat I tried my steak as medium rare, it lacked flavor. I also had a poached egg and it was cooked like a boiled egg smh. The service was good, but the food sucked. The environment was ok, nothing special.
