I have no words to describe how incredible the experience at “Médium Rare” was. Starting with the fantastic selection of cocktails and wines, followed by an amazing salad and continuing with the most exceptional steak accompanied with an exquisite secret sauce and their incredible French fries. To finish with a very complete selection of desserts of which I want to highlight the “Double Chocolate Fudge Layer Cake” which I assure you will not be able to finish. All this accompanied by the most cordial attention from Angel, the waiter, Ana the bartender and Marina, the manager. In short, a cozy place to share with your partner, family and friends.

Having dined here twice, my main recommendation is to avoid coming on a Friday or Saturday even if you have a reservation! Food is great and it makes for a good dining experience when it's not crazy. A peak time on a Friday and Saturday and you're liable to be waiting for quite a while for your reservation.

They only have one thing on the menu and they do it well! Steak and fries with gravy and as much of it as you can eat!! They just keep bringing it out till you say stop!! The service was excellent, he went above and beyond for our table!

Although I am not a huge fan of the steak, I love the fries , the bread and the sauce. The salads are also quite lovely from medium rare. This is a place I would recommend if you like steak.

One of my favorites in the DMV. That sauce is something!! And I appreciate their attention to detail - spacing out the two plates of steak frites each person gets ensures your food is warm and delicious, rather than serving it all at once. Get the key lime pie for dessert, it's tangy, creamy, and an absolute dream.

Had a truly horrible experience here on Valentine’s Day. The restaurant was absolutely packed and they must have added more tables which led to folks banging into me time after time. The food was subpar - the steak cold and hard to eat at times - and the waiter was inattentive and frankly rude. I don’t know what happened, but I won’t be returning to this restaurant.
We had the steak eggs Benedict and French toast at bottomless brunch. Delicious mimosas with fresh orange juice. The steak was tender and the French toast was excellent. My only issue was that they were pretty stingy with the bottomless drinks, they only gave us 2 refills !
Usually 5 stars. This time the restaurant allowed the table next to us to allow their kids to watch videos on iPads without headsets. So we were treated to annoying and distracting sounds, rather than the music chosen by the restaurant for background. Would recommend that management handle these situations so that the majority of the guests in the room don't have to.

Where else can you have a delicious meal and suddenly your server comes to the table to give you seconds? And then, too full to enjoy more there, they pack it up for you to take home! We love Medium Rare -- both the night we eat there and the night we enjoy the leftovers!

We showed up at the time of our reservation and were greeted and seated immediately. It was a Saturday evening and the place was packed. The service was good and friendly. Looked a little bit short staffed though. For example, when we found no knives on our table, I had to walk and find someone and ask for them. They have just one item on their menu for the main dish: their signature steak with fries and secret sauce. It was tasty. The portion size is not huge but they serve you twice. The price was reasonable. We enjoyed our visit and recommend this place to steak lovers who are happy with pre-tailored experiences in terms of the type and size of the dish.
