All cats here are being fostered! It’s a really clean place and the staff are super friendly. Prices are also reasonable compared to other places in the area. I highly recommend to check it out. P.S. adopt one of the fluffy ones if you can!

Meow Maison is doing amazing work by rescuing adorable cats and kittens from kill shelters. The cafe itself is great, with amazing staff and affordable visiting prices (especially compared to other DC cat cafes). I adopted my adorable kitten today and could not be happier. My overall experience adopting my kitten was fast and very smooth. Lucky Dog is the partnering adoption agency and was lovely to work with. I would recommend Meow Maison and Lucky Dog to literally anyone looking to adopt a cat.

Meo Masion is a cute cat cafe with an adjacent coffee shop. The volunteers will take your order, and the coffee is so delicious the cats want some too! we came during nap time, so the kittens curled up in our laps to sleep. I would absolutely recommend coming!

Great spot if you want to hang out with lots of cats or are thinking about adopting. I’ve been there twice, 4 months apart, and every cat was different the second time, which shows how successful their adoption rate is. They also host fun events like yoga with cats, watercolor painting with cats, and more.

Before you get to the cats, you meet Bryna at the register who is such a warm and professional young lady. She answered all my questions thoroughly & patiently.
Inside, you will meet the cat community, each with a unique personality.
I had a lovely experience with Ghost pepper, an explorer kitten, and Fergus, a warm 12 year old cat, who can be a little timid in the beginning.
All cats are adoptable, their policies are straight forward, and I’ll definitely consider adopting from this place in the future.

Overall, I enjoyed being at Meow Maison, the cats were very cute and the staff was friendly. I would say the experience was average, given the price and the mediocre experience I had. I had gone in alone while there was another family there, and I felt it was a little crowded and difficult to interact with the cats when there were so many other people trying to get their attention. Near the end, I felt like I was waiting for my time to be up. Otherwise, I liked that the staff gave you space to interact with all the cats and did a very good job of introducing you to everyone without making you feel overwhelmed. It is also a very nice space.
