I've never paid so much for so little food. We ordered a pitcher of sangria which was probably the best deal there. However the food left something to be desired. We got the branzino which was mostly bones. The picanha was good but overpriced and we got so little of it. We got the patatas brava, broccolini and some mushroom side which were alright but crazy overpriced and not enough to share. The ceviche was a few tiny pieces of cut up fish that you'd expect cost like $10 but was $22. All of this came out to $350 with tip (22% service charge which is absurd). An absolutely absurd amount to still be so starving afterwards. The drinks were good but would never come back here for food. Would definitely avoid at all cost.

We started with the steak tartare + grilled sourdough, then went in on their “sorta” lomo saltado + a whole branzino with capers + grilled lime. The fish was so delicious! We then came back for tres leches + chocolate cake + coffee after visiting the Christmas market nearby.

We had a great experience at Mercy Me DC Dining Bar. The atmosphere was welcoming, the food was excellent, and the service truly stood out. Leo and David took amazing care of us—attentive, friendly, and very professional. They made sure everything was perfect and really elevated our dining experience. We’ll definitely be back!

I love this place. The food is eccentric and delicious. Each recipe is so creative and the cocktails are also top notch. Perfect ambience with a DJ spinning on a Saturday night. Our date night couldn't have been any better. Will surely be back!

It's overhyped. There is no special or seasonal menu and aside from the pretty decorations hanging from the ceiling, there is not much to it. We were rushed by our waiter, consistently reminding us we had two hours total for our reservation. He initially kept coming very frequently which made us feel pressured to order and once we did we hardly saw him afterwards. Weird vibe for sure.

Was excited to get a reservation for El Chalet... unfortunately, it fell a little flat. They didnt have special holiday drinks (only the week before Christmas- whyyyyy?), and they turned over seating all at once which created an awful service bottleneck. The saving grace is the food was fabulous as always. Will I return to mercy me, sure. Was El Chalet worth it, no. The ambiance was lovely but beyond that, it wasn't special enough to go crazy for.

A delightful surprise for several of us who live in the neighborhood but had never been. Lovely space (with tables far enough apart that you can hear each other), nice vibe, excellent food and service. We'll be back!!

Was a guest for a private birthday and had a wonderful time at Mercy Me. Our server Antoine was amazing I will be back just to see him. He masterfully took care of our large group and we had the best time. Thanks again Antoine. Laura I believe is the manager and took such great care of the birthday girl. I will be back for dinner or happy hour soon.
