This spot is super cute and vibey. The perfect place to spend a happy hour after a long day or week. I heard they have events like trivia and a love island watch party. Also everyday they have a different food truck on site. However spending $15 on a drink that is so small is CRAZY!!! See image attached note I did take a few sips. Like this cup alone should be half the price come on.

Very unique setting... Literally, old metro subway cars make up the indoor bar area... Outdoor dining and bar areas gave this very unique... Also featured local vendors. Drinks were very reasonably priced. Did not have the opportunity to order anything to eat.

Edit: metrobar responded and the parent was a contractor, not associated with the business. Other than the strange experience with him, metrobar was lovely and had delicious drinks, perfect before seeing a movie.
I had a disturbing experience at metrobar tonight (12/6 at around 6 PM). A man working , in his late 30s/early 40s, left his 3-year-old daughter unattended in a busy bar at night. The little girl was clearly scared and looking for her dad, who did nothing to ensure her safety. She wandered around the bar, playing with guests and talking to strangers, without supervision.
It is deeply troubling to see a child left alone in a dark corner of a bar, without a jacket, and with no one to ensure she doesn’t wander out the door. When I finally got the man’s attention and confronted him about his negligence, he got defensive, claiming others were watching her. However, it’s not the bartenders’ or bussers’ job to babysit. It’s his responsibility to keep his child safe.
Whoever this man was, owner or manager, shame on you. You’re very lucky your child stayed safe tonight. This experience makes it hard to support this business, and I doubt I will ever be back to support metrobar :(

I don't understand how it takes 15 minutes to get a cocktail with 3 working bartenders. They need another bar and bartenders especially for weekend crowds.

I attended the Love Is Blind viewing party at Metro Bar yesterday, and I was really let down by the customer service. The bartenders were inattentive, resulting in long wait times. When I asked for prices, I was met with negative attitudes that made me feel like a nuisance rather than a customer.
Given the excitement of the event, I expected much better service. Unfortunately, this experience has made me hesitant to return.

Cheerily decorated outdoor venue with lots of long tables. Did not go into the indoor part - an actual Metro train car, very cool. We went on Thu eve for trivia night. Buy food next door or elsewhere and bring it in to eat, they don't offer their own food, just drinks. Bartender was condescending, the whole night, just barely not rude. Trivia questions themselves were good quality/fun, but man delivering them had the personality of a tree stump (zero). He sat up in a corner away from all the people, never looked at or interacted with any of the audience having fun. He seemed to totally hate his job; maybe he just suffered some terrible tragedy? If the former, Metrobar owner, please find someone who knows how to get up there, smile, interact with the audience, and not behave like they despise life doing it. Thank you.
