First time visiting , Mezcalero was worth the pricing. Drinks were tasty, appetizers were as well. My friend had the ceviche (very fresh) and I enjoyed the oysters app, which needs to come with more because they are so dang good LOL!!

Super underrated spot. The happy hour is perfect for a quick drink and some small plates—highly recommend. The food was really good; I had the enchiladas, ceviche, and a tostada, and everything was excellent and well-priced. The margaritas were spot-on—I was buzzing after just two. In a city where it’s hard to find a drink under $18, this place is the ideal weeknight hangout.

Came here during lunch hours, the service was very pleasant & quick. I ordered the chicken burrito; it was really great and i was too stuffed to finish. My boyfriend enjoyed their churrasco grilled steak. overall, i would recommend this place to anyone looking for great mexican restaurant to eat.
Dinner and drinks were fantastic. Great quality and flavors. Will def be coming back.

Love some yummy food! Guacamole needed some salt and pepper, still haven’t found the perfect guacamole in DC, but nevertheless the food was definitely a 10/10. Chorizo tacos was a 10, chicken taco cool 7, camarrones a la Diablo 10 delicious, fajitas mixta 10! The chicken on the fajitas was very well seasoned! I’m coming back for the birria tacos 🌮. Happy Eating

The food was very, very delicious. I always visit this mezcalero restaurant with my family and the service is very very good. I like the attention and kindness of the server Rey. I asked him for his name. Everything is very clean in this place. I highly recommend it. The molcajetes are delicious and all the food.

Got there an hour before they closed and they told us that we would have to take the food out and weren't allowed to eat there. Lazy staff. Seems like it would have been great food but I'll never know. They had three groups of people eating but hey, I'll never beg one to take my money if they don't want it.
