Just returned from a visit to Mexico, and had dinner at La Vida which brings some of the greatest MX ambience to DC. The food in MX is so varied and La Vida echos that. Very tasty tacos with seafood and beef for two of us and black mole on quesadillas for another guest, with a huge selection of drinks to go along. We will definitely be back to savor much more of the wonderfully promising menu!

Mi Vida is a fantastic Mexican restaurant right in the heart of The Wharf. The food is absolutely delicious! The Cochinita tacos were packed with flavor, and the salmon manchamanteles was spectacular (the combination of flavors was bold, unique, and perfectly balanced). The staff is incredibly friendly, making the experience even more enjoyable. The restaurant itself is big and spacious, with stunning views of the pier that add to the overall vibe. A must-visit if you’re in the area!

We had an amazing experience here—from the vibes to the food, everything was top-tier. The wings with avocado sauce were a standout appetizer—so flavorful and unique, we couldn’t stop talking about them! I ordered the Pollo Chilango as my entrée and it was so good—perfectly cooked, seasoned just right, and beautifully presented. The service was great and the atmosphere made the whole night feel special. Definitely adding this to my list of favorite spots in the city!
