We had a great dinner before our night out. The upstairs patio overlooking the Wharf has a stunning view. Drinks were good, food was tasty, lots of different portion sizes in case you want to share with friends. I'm very picky about mole but this Texican vouches for it! The restaurant is expensive. I have no problem with that, but if a restaurant is going to be expensive then it should be very good. Mi Vida was lacking in that area. Two of us shared an order of the steak fajitas and it was ridiculously priced. If you're going to charge $80 for steak fajitas for 1-2, (which is very confusing as it is), then it needs to be amazing and these were not. The steak was fine. Cut too thick in our opinion, made it a little tricky, but that's not really a problem. Veggies were skimpy. The accoutrements were a joke, except not, because $80. There was maybe a tablespoon or two of pico de gallo, definitely not enough for 6 small fajitas. Ditto sour cream and guacamole. It was obnoxious to be so spare with the toppings when they really do not cost the restaurant much at all. Service was decent, view was awesome. I would not go back however. In today's world with everything being so expensive, restaurants have to earn my business and Mi Vida simply did not.

We had an early dinner and then came back for hors d'oeuvres later in the evening. it was absolutely great the environment seats. We were there for the DC jazz festival. Our seats were right across from the main stage. It was a perfect evening. Thank you too all the servers and everyone who made our experience one of the best evening we've had in a long time!

We had a very disappointing experience at this restaurant. Despite having a reservation, we were kept waiting for a table even though I mentioned that we had guests visiting from abroad with two children. It took a long time for our orders to be taken, even though the restaurant was not particularly busy at the time. Then, it took a full hour for our food to arrive, and even then, one order was completely missing, leaving us waiting even longer. The service was inattentive, and we felt embarrassed in front of our guests. On top of that, a 20% gratuity was automatically added to our bill for four adults and two children, which felt very unfair given the poor experience. The food itself was average at best, and the menu was misleading. For example, French fries were actually made with sweet potatoes, which was not stated on the menu, and none of us could eat them. Overall, we will not be returning and definitely would not recommend this restaurant.

I have a severe tree nut allergy, and he and the manager were exceptionally helpful in managing our food order to ensure everything was safe to eat. The restaurant clearly has very strong allergy training and protocols, which we value greatly. Looking forward to our next meal there!

Solid place for happy hour and dinner. The Atmosphere was lively, service was good, but drink service was slow. Most of the main entrees were spicy for my party. I truly enjoying the Carne Asada and the Platanos frito. Would definitely eat at Mi Vida again.

I love this place. The food is delicious , and the atmosphere is lively and fun. Decor is also super nice. Our table had a waterfront view and was spectacular. Food came out fairly promptly. Everything we ordered tasted great. I will come back and recommend this place anytime!

I was so disappointed by the cleanliness of the seating area on the top floor. My fish tacos were extremely fishy and oily. I unfortunately had to send it back. This restaurant needs some serious oversight or new management. Our waiter seemed extremely exhausted but was nice. Hopefully, they'll get it together because it has potential given the location and menu.

Great experience. Wife and I stopped by for brunch. Outdoor seating in the shade👍🏼. Our waiter, Octavio, was awesome, he answered our questions, made recommendations and was perfect with his timing. The food and drinks were on point. We will be back.
