Went during lunch. Wasn't sure what to order. The tall guy Kj I think was his name asked if I had any food restrictions, I informed him I'm a pescetarian. He suggested the tuna melt. The sandwich was huge and delicious! I will be back to try the breakfast. The menu has something for everyone.

Breakfast is still very much a work in progress. When it first opened, they were using watered down cream cheese and very little of it. I ordered a toasted bagel with cream cheese twice and when I unwrapped it at my office, about a five minute walk away, there was a just a little ring of white around the edge. Terrible.
I waited a couple months to try again. I ordered a toasted bagel with sausage and cheese. They only offered egg, sausage, and cheese. I asked twice to leave off the egg. When they handed it to me, I confirmed, “No egg”? They said yes. There was egg.
I waited several months again. Wow. Even worse now. I ordered a toasted bagel with scallion cream cheese. 12 minutes(!!) later they handed me my order. No apology for the extraordinary delay. The service was just terrible. The bagel was fine (not great) and at least they used normal cream cheese and a decent amount. But 12 minutes?
I want to like this place. I keep going back hoping that I’ll like it. But they’re 0/3 at this point. Don’t know that I’ll return. Sad.

Best breakfast bagel sandwich ever. First time here, took a minute to figure out ordering at kiosk but worth it. The maple sausage links were a delicious surprise, fresh bagel and sizeable egg made a perfect meal. Attentive and friendly staff, more than one person checked on me. Wish the music was a little quieter, (old person beef) but good music selections overall.coming back soon!!

I live in the neighborhood and I was stopping by for breakfast. My first time. The food is terrific. The assistant manager Scott came in and he called on two of the staff to sit down with him. He was very forceful and having a serious conversation about operations. It was totally inappropriate in the middle of the restaurant. Fortunately, a wonderful lady named Rae was at the counter and I told her that it was an inappropriate place to have any conversation about the restaurant. She asked them to go elsewhere because evidently he has an office here. This restaurant is a wonderful new addition to our neighborhood but staff should not be treated like this. Been here a few times, and the sandwiches and service are good. But the portions don't live up to the prices. Plus they used to include a side, but apparently those are extra now. Even the cheese on a cheesy sandwich (like a brisket melt) is a separate charge. I like the pickle bar, and it's a nice space. But overall I just don't feel like I'm getting what I pay for here.

OMG the omelettes are freaking good.I had the best waitress Shanita she was such a good server. My food was on time and hot.
Got the D.C grand bagel, the bagel was soggy and not good no way it was toasted, the fried egg was good, the cheese and sausage was decent, the Latte tasted disgusting, cashier lady was nice but it seems like they need to get better staff, the pickle bar was not bad, but from outside the place looked like it might be great a New york type of deli, looks can be deceiving.

As much as I wanted to knock this place based off the price, I can’t seem to do so. I went here for lunch yesterday and I can say I would come back. I’d also recommend it to others.
I had got the brisket melt, a sweet tea, and a cookie all for ~$30.00. The brisket melt was a gorgeous looking sandwich and tasted phenomenal. The cookie was baked perfectly. Hard edges yet soft in the middle. I do wish the sandwich came with fries or something on the side to make me feel like the price was worth it. It’s definitely not no potbelly, subway, pret, bozzeli’s, or jersey mikes.
I’d say it’s a once a month or every blue moon place to go for lunch unless you had money like that to spend. I believe the sandwich was ~$20.00 (normally $18.95 but for cheese it was an extra $1.00 which was odd since it’s a melt so you’d think cheese comes with it), sweet tea was ~$4.00, and the cookie $2.00. I added the cookie simply based on the price. I knew I didn’t want to come back here for a mid-shift lunch so I figured I might as well try the cookie. However, the tastes of the sandwich made me want to come back for a mid-shift lunch. I definitely judged a book by its cover! I’d probably try something cheaper my next go around but when I looked at the cheaper options nothing spoke to me.
The staff was very friendly! I have a feeling they would have corrected an order with no problem should an issue had risen. Ambiance was cool. Restaurant was clean and pickle bar was a surprise.
