Food was good. Very surprised to read that the staff was friendly. The cashier was great but the shake person at the pickup window seemed to be having a bad day which was reflected by kind of being rude to us who were just waiting to pick up a shake. The manager was also off just on high alert to both the cashier and pickup person.

Cookies are pretty good, but unsure if they’re worth the +$3 price tag. I e. Ream was super unique and not really my style - corn-flavored and semi-sweet. Staff was really nice and helped us out the whole time. Worth it for a cookie!

Great customer service, desserts were solid.

Diabetes special! 27 grams of sugar and 330 calories? If they cut 2/3rds of the sugar and the calories that go with them , that’d be best for everyone. It’s like what Spindrift did for fruit juices.

So overpriced and the product (cake slices) is getting smaller/drier.

Lexy, the best host. She was very excited about the cookies and the ice cream. Although I didn’t plan on getting anything, her excitement encourage me to get one of the cornflake cookies. If I start a business in DC, I’m going to come and take her from y’all and have her work for me;)

Overpriced. $11 for a milkshake. Also, super runny milkshake even though I asked for "thicc."

I was hesitant to come here after reading the recent reviews, but we had a great experience! The atmosphere is cool - seems like lots of space to hang out (didn’t stay because it was late). As for the ice cream, I’d never been here before, and it’s definitely unique. I just wish they had a little more variety of options (they had 4 milk shake options - cereal milk, bday, chocolate bday, and seasonal), but they do have a curated menu - so if you’re not picky and want a unique tasting experience, this is a fun spot. The service was great - she gave us samples of the ice creams to help us decide. We got the bday shake and then made our own concoction of cereal milk ice cream with chocolate and red velvet cheesecake truffles…SO GOOD, literally omg that should go on the menu!

I remember Milk Bar when it first opened and how fresh things were. Now they’re just packaged cookies and the milk bar pie tastes like it was just defrosted. The only thing worth getting is the soft serve, but even then with all the dessert shops available this just seems overrated. Miss the old Milk

Came in very late on a Saturday night they had packed up everything but only had one pint of milk cereal and birthday cake. The manager kindly sold it to us. My partner and I ate the entire pint in the car within 10 minutes! It was SOOO good! The very last few bites of the pint was quite sweet but the rest was perfect!
Confused about why there are so many bad reviews we are avid ice cream lovers and think it’s a very good spot!

First Off - I absolutely love her cookbook.

We came in and got soft serve, truffles and a cookie and sat down inside as it was a million degrees outside.

Everything is always good and my complaint is going to come down to cleanliness and staff. I was so excited to purchase delicious items that I honestly was not paying attention until I sat down.

The tables, floor and even the cooler is just not clean. I am not expecting so clean that I can eat off the floor but the floor had not been cleaned for more than a few days.

2 people working that we saw - the one who waited on us was polite and quickly disappeared. The other person sat on the counter with their foot on the other counter.

I am adding a picture but hiding the employee identity as perhaps this is the expectation ?

Felt like I was back in NYC! Although they have added a lot since I had last been. The staff was super helpful and friendly.

The service was good but famous milk soft serve was not. The cake was ok but for the price for a slice I was expecting better. Bought the slice of crack pie that was good.
