We had lunch here. Dishes were hit or miss. The Bo Luc Lac came out without any sauce and seemed very dry and almost stale. Most of the dish was just a bed of salad or vegetables. While I would give it 3.5 starsI think it’s off the list for now and we will explore other options.

When it comes to food from Vietnam I’m clueless. We ordered a quail appetizer and I had seafood on noodles dish. The seafood was very fresh, but I was hoping for more spices. The restaurant was slow but they had a good soundtrack playing.

I had Beef with broccoli which tasted very good. Meat was tender, boccoli cooked right and crunchy and the brown sauce was the kicker.

Fortunately we found a place downtown on Xmas evening to eat. It was as expected. A no thrills menu with a good variety of dishes. It is a wonderfully quite restaurant, ideal for conversations. The food is tasty and the service is great.

Lame food over a pretty dull ambience were only the beginning of what became a terrible experience.after having dinner in an almost empty place, we decided to ask for the bill.the waiter came, took my credit card, And went off to prepare the payment.to my surprise with in a minute the amount of $43.07 was written off from my account 2 times. I know this since I get notified on my phone.of course I immediately asked the waiter and all I got back was that it was the banks fault, they should fix it, there was nothing they could do and so on. To make a long story short, I ended up calling the police to help out who clearly sure that the restaurant was wrong but they also did not help me.it took me many phone calls and a lot of bickering from the owner who was absolutely not willing to do anything and told me basically to FO. Show much for Miss Saigon. Don’t ever enter that place voluntarily if you can avoid it.

Worst chicken curry I have ever had, anywhere, in the world. I asked for extra spicy and they put two slices of jalapeno on the dish. The curry was so bland and gooey, definitely not made with coconut milk and the potatoes tasted like they had been fried before being added to the soup. There were awards posted at the entry from 20 years ago! 1997-98....might be time to take them down.
