I ordered the Thanksgiving package meal and all my side were covered with aluminum foil. I also ordered a pan of stuffing in which I didn’t receive, instead I received a pan of rice with vegetables that I didn’t order. I think they should have covered the containers with tops so that the food items can be transported without spillage in my car.

It’s a no for me. The Mac and cheese was dry and lacked cheese and seasoning. The salmon bites were not good and whatever that breading it they should stop. The only good part was the yams and the baked salmon. But that sauce was also salty. I had high expectations and spent a lot for mediocre

It is a very unassuming location. Parking is challenging in the front, and I strongly encourage you to park in the back. We had dinner at the bar, and our bartender was amazing, very personable, friendly, and made phenomenal drinks. Food came out relatively quickly. The side dishes were great, and the oxtail dish was delicious. The downside with my fried fish was that it was too salty. The fish was well prepared and flakey, but the seasoning had too much salt, and unfortunately, the remaining spices couldn't balance it out. They have fair prices and will certainly return for dinner.

Was a nice lil quick brunch to celebrate my nephew! Food was good, Kendall was great and attentive(forgive me if i spelled it wrong). I got the seafood omelette🫶🏾

Nope! My greens were swimming in pot liquor, the unseasoned lamb chops were covered in pot liquor. The staff is not rude, but they aren't friendly either. They just exist. No!

I recently placed an Uber Eats order for two servings of Southern chicken wings, but instead received two orders covered in Buffalo wing sauce. This is not what I ordered or wanted. In an attempt to salvage my purchase, I had to wash off the buffalo sauce from the chicken. The quality of service seems to have declined significantly since they first opened.

I am a returning customer and the host Amia was amazing. She was very professional and welcoming. I was seated at the bar and Erika was my bartender and she made my drinks and food it was great!

We live within walking distance and decided to give Miss Toya’s a try. The Gumbo was very good as was the salmon salad. The chicken sandwich was dry, overly fried, and bland.

The service, however, was lacking to say the least. The hostess was on her phone and didn’t acknowledge us until we engaged with her after awkwardly standing in silence for about a minute. The waitress came by after several minutes and we ordered cocktails. The drinks took OVER AN HOUR to arrive, and that was only after the manager checked in with us while we were eating to ask how everything was. After he was involved it took about 10 minutes to receive our drinks. Note that it wasn’t remotely busy at the time, but the waitress and bartender were more interested in having personal conversations than working on a drink order. We had already finished our appetizer and entrees by the time the drinks showed up.

The cost for 3 entrees, 1 appetizer, and 3 drinks was about $120. Despite us being disappointed with the wait time on the drinks, they were actually pretty darn good. Only go here if you have plenty of time to kill, extra month to burn, want to be ignored by staff, but have decent food. I would not recommend dining in, but I bet carryout would provide a much better experience.

She wanted a Southern breakfast so why not indulge into the complete Soul Food Entrée
The combination of great service, delicious food and the refreshing pineapple fruit punch 😋 makes for a memorable Brunch.
Kudos 🙏🏾🙏🏾to the hostess and the cook making it so enjoyable.

I went in to order the banana pudding it was $8.80 ....Gave the greeter may card to pay for the order she swiped the card and then started to type my card numbers in so I asked why you typing my card in she said that the card reader don't work all the time so I td her that don't look good with you typing my card number in so I'll give you cash gave her $20 she came back with the $11 dollars so I asked where was the change...she said they don’t have change they never have coin change in there so I said ok. 20 minutes has gone by so I asked if they were making to banana pudding fresh so one young lady went to check....come to find out the order was by passed so I had to wait another 10 minutes to only have the order ready and the young lady gave it to someone else whom decided to wonder qhy he had to bags once he realized it wasn't his he gave it back and she gave me my order. Once I got to my car I decided to taste it. It the worst I have ever tasted it was hot not room temp but hot bananas were black not yellow nor a little brown but BLACK and the portion size was 2 tablespoons... I couldn'
BELIEVE IT. I was to frustrated to go back in after the whole experience it just throw it out. I'll never go here again and for the one who told me about the banana pudding has never had real banana pudding.
