Tonight, I visited this restaurant based on a recommendation. Upon arrival, there was no host at the entrance, so I seated myself at the bar. After sitting for about 15 - 20 minutes, I had yet to be acknowledged by the bartender, despite the bar not being overly busy. I was not greeted and ultimately had to ask if I could place an order.
After ordering, I was not provided silverware or napkins and had to request them. Overall, I felt unseen and like an inconvenience rather than a guest. I chose to place my order to go so I could enjoy it back at my hotel; however, when I arrived, the order was incorrect, prompting me to write this review.
That said, the tacos were absolutely amazing and were the highlight of the experience.

We came in here on a late night. They had a DJ upstairs who was playing everything the servers were good. We had Maddie she was amazing. I don’t remember the other folks names, but they were very attentive of making sure that everyone had everything that they needed or wanted it. We asked the DJ for a few request and he played them. That was cool. The chicken wings were fire 🔥 they didn’t close till three. I think we left about 2 AM. It was a night to remember.

Very cool atmosphere. It was basically self service with food being half cold and half warm. Not for families. Which very well could have been what impacted the experience. We could not have been the targeted customers.

We hosted our 10-year class anniversary at Mission and to say we are overly satisfied would be an understatement! We had an amazing time celebrating, and working with the Mission team was an incredibly seamless and accommodating process. We spent a lot of time looking for venues to host our event at and couldn't have been happier with our decision. Thank you a million times over, Mission team! We loved the drinks, food, and overall vibe. 10/10!

The restaurant was amazing. We made a reservation for happy hour right before a concert. The venue was right across the street so the restaurant was very busy making service a little slower than expected. The food was really good, everything tasted so fresh! Our server was really sweet and checked on us multiple times. I will definitely be back to try more things! I would recommend that the booking site tells you if your table will be upstairs or downstairs because the elevator is for ADA only. Other than that it was a fabulous experience!
Overall a great time. Food came quickly. I ordered the Salmon Tacos and a Veggie Fajita Bowl. I wish I was offered more sauce for my food because it was a little dry but again the food was still good.
5 stars for GF menu labelling and care in the kitchen. Food was a solid, but not stand-out Mexican. Could use more flavor and spice.
Great experience, we went before the Chris Brown concert, everything was great!!!! Food, music, service, and price.
The food was amazing and I have the best bar tender (Izzy) she made my birthday so special.
Thank you so much
Definitely will come back soon.

We hosted a company event at Mission and had a great experience. No fee to reserve the space, flexibility with the food we ordered and when we ordered it, and good communication from the Mission team. The churro bites were a big hit with our team. Would do it again!

I was very impressed with Aroon during my visit. The day was calm, but he kept everything under control with excellent professionalism. You could see his attention to detail and the organized way he managed the shift. His presence made the experience enjoyable and reliable, showing his commitment to both the team and the customers.

Great place to host an event or pregame before a Nats or DC United Game. Right across the road from Nats Park and a couple blocks from Audi Field. Highly recommend.

We booked Mission for a family style brunch for 20+ people and the experience was wonderful! They had an entire section for our group and had a great bottomless brunch option with such a lovely spread of the best Mexican dishes and some staple breakfast sides. It was the perfect set up for a large group and the birthday sign was a great touch! I would highly consider doing this again for a large group. The food was flavorful and we had such a variety for everyone in our group. The kitchen even made tacos separately for those in our party who were gluten free! Always a happy time at Mission!

First time here. Always wanted to try it. Beef barria tacos and chicken quesadilla. Both were dry and prob days old for the meat. Asked for hot sauce to choke it down and the waitress gave us an empty bottle of chiluah. Just wasn't what we expected- and we will not return.
