It is a high end dining experience for sure. Beautiful setting. Lots of silverware and settings. Many courses. Lots of staff interaction that takes place over three hours. With all that said, only one course -- the soup -- was excellent. The other food was good, interesting, and unusual. Glad we went. For the price point, over $300 for the two of us, not in a rush to go back. I am glad to see a one star Michelin vegan restaurant in DC.

I am so glad I found out about this place! The only plant-based restaurant in the entire DMV area with a Michelin star. We had the 14-course tasting menu. Happycow only allows 9 photos, so I can't upload the whole meal but I wish I could! The menu has four "acts". It began with prickly pear/tajin candies with edible rice paper wrappers. I must admit that it was simple, dumb luck that I made a reservation to dine here about 2 weeks before they were awarded a Michelin Star. I also admit I initially hesitated because of the price; however, if you can swing it, the food and the experience are well worth it. This is a chic-casual, modern, upscale restaurant that serves some of the most unusual and creative cuisine I have had in the U.S. The space is hipster chic and there are masses of staff to see to your every need....
