Is anyone aware that they open this place after 2am for an after hours spot ILLEGALLY? On top of that their security is terrible, as I was trying to come out the bathroom an employee and security guard came right into the bathroom with me…the employee female was trying to cut in front of the line & called security for back up. Then proceeded to take my friends purse from her and put it outside on the ground. We told a manager & she did nothing about it. When then told another so called manager & she told us to delete the video & we can come back inside. Will be posting video too!!

I try not to bash black owned businesses. However, this place really PMO!! I booked a table month ahead of time for me and my lady’s anniversary. We even got a email from the establishment to confirm our reservation the day before our scheduled time, then when we showed up for our scheduled time….. they were CLOSED….. I double check my email, their website, and even checked their IG to see if they posted anything about closing early…. Nothing…. I even tried calling and emailing but of course I’ve never gotten a call back or received an email back. It was very disappointing especially knowing how excited we were driving two hours away just to try out the place. Now this was back in April but a friend of mine told me he was going to check this place out and it reminded that I never wrote my review. As easily as It could have been to tell not to go I did tell him to book a plan B place just in case. Hopefully he and his Wife have a better experience….

Absolute worst! I've given this place like 3 chances. Snapper and oxtail BARELY has any meat. The food is super over priced as well. My last experience: we were seated at table I went to the bathroom. I told my friend to watch my food while I went to the bathroom with our other friend. I come back from the bathroom and my food gone. I had fish and rice left! Mind you they want $50 for this skimpy snapper. So I'm asking the waitress what happened. She just kept saying she doesn't know she doesn't take the food. While I'm trying to explain to her I understand that but I still had food on my plate and the kitchen is closed. She tells me I only had rice on my plate. I explained to her I had both, so since the kitchen wA closed could I get it taken off. She said no bc I ate most of it ??. Shortly after I learned this chic was supposedly "The manager." I'm like damn ! Y'all took my food and don't want to compensate me NO kinda way?!! ??????This was my experience, so to each its own!

This not in no way shape or form African food. This just some people using the African food experience to rip off people. Food tastes awful and very small quantities for the high price you pay. Staff is also amazingly RUDE. Definitely not worth it. Save your time.

Horrible service only customers in the restaurant took over a hour to be serviced. Health department came for an inspection. Charged $25 for gratuity for a horrible experience especially this being my first. I would NOT recommend this resultant to anyone. Everyone was unprofessional!!!!!!!!

I had done some research before coming to the states from Australia and this was a restaurant I was really looking forward to. We double checked the restaurant on arrival in the states and walked in the negative degree weather to this restaurant to fine that it was closed. I’m sure they are a great restaurant but would have liked the update

Pleasr avoid this place called moi moi, the food is terrable we ordered beef suya and it was boiled not grilled, the red snapper was fried with canned whole tomatoes poured over it, and did I mentioned the oxtail was mixed with stale rice and beans. The seats were so uncomfortable, too low. Please if you are looking for a real authentic african dish moimoi is not the place. The waiter described their food as african food with a twist. Please do not waste your time and money.
