I don’t think this restaurant is open. I tried to go at 12:30 on a Sunday and there was a gate and stair in front of the door.

Like others are saying…you never really know if they’re open or not, but that doesn’t stop them from allowing you to order online when they’re closed. If you do get the food, it’s lean cuisine quality.

I can’t rate the food because at 7 pm on a Wednesday, they were closed despite signs outside pointing the way in as if they were open. Doors locked and dark inside. If that’s how little you respect potential clientele, I don’t need to be bothered to try again.

Imma be honest giving it 2 stars is actually nice. I visited the place it was empty but nice atmosphere. I looked at the menu before I came but it’s not accurate to the the actual menu. There aren’t any individual tacos only 3/$12. I asked for 2 steak and 2 fried cod and got 2 shrimp and 2 ground beef tacos. And they weren’t even good which made it worse ! Overall the place have potential but it definitely missed the mark.

Not open when advertised, even when accepting online orders. Tried to go here at 1pm on April 4 and the door was locked in addition to a security gate. Tried to give them the benefit of the doubt but no one picked up the phone either. Post accurate hours for when you're actually open.

Mood Swings Food Hall is my new go-to spot in DC! Spearheaded by the city's youngest restauranteur, Taj Sohal, it's where the menu changes monthly, keeping our taste buds on their toes. Think global cuisine meets local vibe—perfect for us who love to mix up our dining scenes. Whether you're in for a work sesh with coffee or out for exotic flavors, this place has you covered. Plus, voting on next month's menu? Love being part of the buzz. It's the ultimate spot for us foodies in the city. Don't miss out!
