While this is a beautiful location, the menu was disappointing. The quality wasn't worth the price.
The staff are very friendly and helpful. The ambience is great! The food is good. Its mainly small bites . It was our second visit to this bar. I would visit again. The cost of drinks are too high
I had an amazing experience. I had reservations for a table, but decided to sit at the bar instead. Great food, great service and an appropriately diverse atmosphere. The crab fried rice was delicious and I added chicken at the bartenders suggestion. It was perfect!
First time and definitely not my last time, food was delicious, value was beautiful and service was spot on. Thank you for an amazing night!
Moonraker is a 10/10 experience, I would highly recommend it to any and everyone visiting the DC area. Beautiful views and a wonderful ambience, plus a clean and elevated aesthetic. Chef Eddie the head chef here is absolutely fantastic and has crafted a beautiful menu for the restaurant, along with being super warm and kind when he comes out on the floor. He and the whole staff are wonderful. Chloe our server was very attentive and great as well. The food was so tasty, so filling, and just perfect across the board. My wife and I celebrated our anniversary and the entire staff made the experience one to remember forever. They treated us beautifully and were just the utmost kind and welcoming and caring. Moonraker was the best!
Had a reservation, waited 30 minutes on drinks, the drinks were wrong (tonic instead of club soda), they were remade, and were wrong again. Ordered one spirit and saw that another was being poured instead without a heads-up. Friend came the next night and said the appetizer he ordered was freezing cold, and the sushi had cream cheese—despite them asking for dishes without it. I don't mind paying premium prices, but the food, drinks, and service don't line up.
The place is really nice, beautiful view, food and drinks were good, but the service wasn't the best. We sat outside, the waiter told us he would bring a lamp (since it was so dark), he never did, I asked him again if he could bring one when he brought the drinks, I ended up asking a server if she could bring us a lamp because we couldn't even see our food, or anything really. When the food came they didn't give us chopsticks (for the sushi), and never came back to check on us...
Keiko was amazing! She took such great care of me and my party — we'll definitely be coming back!
Went to Moonraker before a concert at The Anthem. The location is perfect, the sushi was delicious, and the view was amazing. The menu felt a little limited, though, and the cocktails and sushi were definitely overpriced.
AMAZING experience overall. Keiko is a ROCKSTAR! Food was great, aesthetic and views and breathtaking. Will definitely go back!

Went for the Tokyo Chicken and Champagne. We also added the caviar to the service. All of the food was subpar, unfortunately. Wasn't worth the price paid. But ambiance and service was nice.
It is consistently a great spot to catch up with your network and or a loved one. Absolutely one of my fav spot in DC.
It was my wife's birthday and we reserved outdoor seating; they sat us outdoor but not with a view, when asked to be seated on the edge to have a nice view instead of a straight wall, they said those seats were reserved, but we had also reserved outdoor seating... and no one showed up for the tables that were “reserved”. Food, ordered the famous Tokyo chicken, very bland and dry a disgrace the Japanese culture, sushi was good l, I got the crab fried rice ($30) a bowl and it was the driest plate I've ever had in my life.
Our server, Keiko, was AMAZING! Very warm and welcoming! Did a great job giving us a deeper dive of the menu and she made great recommendations! The ambiance and service was amazing and we definitely will return and personally request Keiko!
My reservation was confirmed for Moonraker North - Monument Space. However, I was seated on the very dimly side with the view of the inside of adjacent apartments. It was so dark that we couldn't see our menus and requested additional lamps but only received 1. Our party of 4 was seated with only 3 menus and cutlery. It took 10 min for someone to come back to request another then another 15 min for someone else to return. Overall service was extremely slow, orders were messed twice despite only ordering 4 different items, and suddenly the music got quite loud about halfway through the meal. Silver lining, the fried chicken is gluten-free and once corrected, the sushi was really good. If I ever patronize this place again, it would be for take-away only.
