Not the worst but not the best for them to be charging 30 dollars a pizza…Idk if it was the BBQ pizza but it wasn’t much sauce and it just wasn’t what my buddy recommended. I’d say Emmy Squared, Ledo’s, Andy’s and Todays Pizza are better.

The food is yum, but the experience was yuck. On a Friday at 6pm: 2 of the 3 menu items I tried to order weren’t available, my pizza was missing 1 of 3 ingredients, and THAT lil dribble of hot honey was $1.50 even though the menu says $0.50.
The spot is essentially a pickup window for Motown and a couple other restaurants with a few stools and a counter. The other restaurants you could order on the tablet on your own, but not for Motown? Watched a couple folks walk out cause no one came to help them. Finally had to get someone’s attention to ask if they were even open. Unclear who works for which restaurant.
Just order your pickup from home or get delivery and hope the food you want is available.

Just an incredible pie. The crust! The crunch! I have eaten all the notable square pies in Detroit and I would choose Motown square 10/10 times. Would give 6 stars if possible. Open a location in Michigan please! Pro tip - ask for a faygo soda ?

The pizza is ok! It’s nothing to run back to. Maybe in DC it’s the only or better D-style pizza but in MD we have a few spots that sell this style and they are less salty and better tasting. The service is horrible here. There are many little take out restaurants in this one space. I ordered ahead and the order still wasn’t ready on time. No parking in the area and construction big time. Be prepararse to wait and stay patient. Many off the pizza options were OUT OF STOCK and the pasta isn’t available on the toast takeout menu! Got the basic cheese and basic pepperoni and they are basic.

Ordered the OG and the Jerome through Uber Eats. Arrived on schedule. Love the thick crust and fresh toppings. Will definitely order again! The pizza reminds me of former PI Pizza that was in Gallery Place.

Hole in the wall joint, sharing a space with others, but he definitely puts out some delicious pies ! Highly recommended and well worth a 40min train ride

The food was good, but the service was ok. It just took a long time to get my food. Overall, it was a good experience.
Parking: There is no dedicated parking, parking is limited on the street and this place is located in a busy area.
Wheelchair accessibility: No accessibility. The venue is really small as well.

Best Detroit-style pizza in DC. My favorite is the Belle Isle BBQ Chicken but you can't go wrong with the OG.
