The food was good, but the service was ok. It just took a long time to get my food. Overall, it was a good experience.Parking: There is no dedicated parking, parking is limited on the street and this place is located in a busy area.Wheelchair accessibility: No accessibility. The venue is really small as well.

Best Detroit-style pizza in DC. My favorite is the Belle Isle BBQ Chicken but you can't go wrong with the OG.

I loved the pizza. It was so filling and thick! And the vegan pizza is delightful.

I've had it three times. The first two times it was quite good, almost comparable to the more famous Detroit style pizza venues like Emmy and Red Light, but my latest trip the pizza tasted cardboardy. Overall, this place is a backup when the others are too busy

I had this pep pizza with a friend whom shared the square pizza craving and saw you guys with not so many reviews but great looking food, a shot. When we got the pizza, not only did it look great and smell great, but it tasted great too. my friend is very particular about his pizza, and this one blew him away. love yall, thanks for the great food.

Was very disappointed in this pizza. Was expecting a nice pillowy dough and crispy bottom and edges. What i got was a super chewy and flat pizza. Almost like when you use expired yeast and the dough doesn't rise. The pepperoni was tasty but the pizza as a whole fell flat, literally.

Pizza was delicious! Crust cooked to perfection. As a Detroit native I was very pleased.

Detroit-Style Pizza is my favorite food of all time, and I’ve discovered the best place for it at Motown Square DC. I ordered the Jerome’s in the House, and it exceeded even my highest expectations. The toppings tasted incredibly fresh, the texture and consistency of the cheese was perfect, plus that crust though! That perfect caramelized, crispy + airy finish in each bite. The pickup process was smooth, and I received a pizza that was at the ideal temperature and packed with flavor. This is my new go to spot, I’m definitely looking forward to working my way through this menu.

I had extremely high hopes for this place only to be utterly disappointed! The pizza was absolutely disgusting and as a Detroit native, it taste nothing like Detroit style. The pizza was gummy and not cooked also flavorless. I appreciate the fact that it's black owned and the staff was nice and accommodating but the pizza is trash!!!! I had to take home and try to rebake it was so gummy it kept falling apart hence the mush in the photo.

Our first taste of, what we think, is the finest tasting pizza in all of DC! Had slices of pepperoni, barbecued chicken and ricotta topped pizza squares. The tastiest crust and freshest toppings ever! You need to get yourself a slice…SOON!

This was convenient for me because I was in NW DC. My son and I needed a quick bite after church. My #1 Side Door pizza doesn't open until 5pm (such a bummer). I've tried them all from Emmy Squared (was pretty good) to Red Light Pizza (pretty good too) and even that trash at Pizza Hut. Side Door is still like Floyd Mayweather .....undefeated. Motown Square is tied with the other above mentioned establishments (all but Pizza Hut). It's not the best but it's definitely not bad at all. I'd try it again, but I will say the pie was smaller and pricier ($31.00 for eight squares) than expected. Who knew that Detroit style pizza had so many variations in taste depending on where you buy it from?My son was supposed to take a pic but as a teenager eating pizza...it slipped his mind. I guess we will make another visit and next time remember to take a picture when we do.
