Cute little fast casual restaurant in Georgetown. Seating is limited indoors, there are a couple tables and chairs on the curb. Gets busy around meal times, especially weekends. Solid pita wrap sandwiches, rice bowls, and crepes. Always a go to for me because I frequent the pottery studio down the alley. Would recommend if you're looking for a quick bite to eat.

The food at Munchies is consistently excellent, which is why I rated the food so highly. The sandwiches are genuinely some of the best shawarma I’ve had, and the quality itself is not the issue.
Unfortunately, the service across multiple visits and locations has been consistently uncomfortable. Basic greetings are often not acknowledged, communication feels dismissive, and simple requests like adding sauce or adjusting an order are met with visible annoyance. The overall attitude from staff comes across as unwelcoming and tense.
Because of this, each visit feels stressful rather than enjoyable, which is disappointing given how good the food is. Great food alone is not enough when customer interaction creates anxiety. I’ve reached a point where I no longer feel comfortable returning, despite really liking the menu.
I hope management takes customer experience seriously, because the food deserves better service.
