Super affordable, delightfully simple/bare bones dinner with huge portions. Locally owned neighborhood gem. Get there early to get a table at breakfast. Their coffee could use improvement, but it's all you can drink.
My brother has been visiting this place for years. This was the best meal for the price I had during my visit to DC. Breakfast was way more than I could eat at one sitting. Staff was friendly. (GO DAWGS!) Loved it!

The food is great and the prices are incredible. I’m so happy to have a real diner in the area. I’ll come back for the food, but we did wait over 1.5 hours for the food. Arrived at 0950 and got the food at 1115. After a while I asked where it was after 40 minutes and was told to look at the line. Continued to wait and didn’t get the food till I asked where it was. So I would say to definitely come here for the food, but be prepared to wait a significant amount of time :)
