Hands down my favorite Indian restaurant in DC. Everyone on the staff is friendly and the service is very fast! I adore this place and it is never busy, which I hope changes. Naan wise deserves all the business DC has. Go try it and you won’t regret it!!

Only went here for takeout. Host was very nice at pickup. Had cheese naan and saag paneer. The saag was too runny and didn't have the tastiest paneer. Cheese naan was good but overall meal didn't seem worth the price. Also a reminder to ask for utensils if you need them...I ended up without a fork in my hotel room!

I'm glad I found this place. I stopped in for a quick lunch. Everything was amazing. Chili Paneer; bangin. Shrimp Biryani; bangin. Garlic Naan; Fresh, handmade, also bangin. Veggie Samosa; fresh, handmade, and you guessed it...also bangin! I'll be back 🙌🔥🙌

Do not order the food from this store. This restaurant is terrible. I ordered chicken biryani, they didn’t put , fork and spoon and no napkins at all. I call them, why don’t u guyz put fork and spoon. They said they don’t do that. It’s a rice not a sandwich and how do they expect me to eat it without fork and spoon. The way the talk to me was terrible , ridiculous , rude no manner at all. Terrible customer service.. every restaurant at least put fork, or spoon to eat it.. food is not tasty as well..

Ambience and location is great if you're walking around Adams Morgan and want to hop in for a meal.
The service leaves alot to be desired. The staff seems uninterested in talking to you or answering questions about the food. They seem to know even less about the actual food.
The food itself is mediocre and in some instances not even what its supposed to taste like.
The biryani tastes more like a chicken curry and rice steamed together rather than using the authentic recipe for biryani with its specific spices.
Chicken 65- is not. Chicken 65 is a south indian dish cooked with curry leaves, and a few spices- what these guys sell tastes like something made of ketchup and a bunch of unrelated spices with not a single curry leaf in sight.
The naan is soggy and dense.
The vegetarian dishes were bland and yet all tasted identical in a weird way.
Non-indians seem to enjoy the food, Indians most likely wont.

One item wasn't what was described on the menu and the other tasted like a few days old and not fit for human consumption.

This place was completely empty on a Sunday night, and I know why. The coconut chicken curry and vegetable korma were tasty but not memorable. The goat cheese tikky had no seasoning, and they heavily water-down their chutney sauces. Even though I was the only table in the restaurant, they surprised me with the check as soon as I stopped eating and did not offer to help box my leftovers. This was a one-time visit only. I would be surprised if this place is still open in 3-4 months.

The food was super delicious! Everything tasted wonderful and I had best lamb korma ever. Lots of gluten free options. Staff was so kind. It’s a shame we are only in Washington for one night.

Dietary restrictions: Lots of delicious gluten free options!
