I ordered delivery and we were pleasantly surprised at the large portions. I ordered pakoras, a curry and the aloo gobi. My husband and I could only eat half of it, so we will have another meal out of it. The pakoras were really hot even though I ordered mild, and vice versa for the chicken curry, but it was so good, I'm still giving them five stars.

I'm in DC for work and this place is right around the corner from my hotel. So..convenient. With that said, I would drive a significant distance to eat this food again. Incredible! I had chicken tikka masala and Naan bread. I make my own at home (love to cook and don't eat out often) and this was maybe a little bit better than mine ? Spice and flavor was on point!

I can only speak for the food; I ordered on UberEats and ordered the lamb shashi Korma and the Saag Paneer. Both dishes were disappointing and borderline gross. Lacking flavor. Very disappointed and confused because the restaurant is highly rated. No great Indian food. Keep looking.

The place is spot on as is the Lamb Biryani. The food here never disappoints.

Lamb tikka masala was subpar. Tikka masala is supposed to be a little sweet but this wasn’t. Lots of tikka masala sauce but tiny portion of rice. Chicken nana was bad. Compared to Indochen, the food here was disappointing. The atmosphere is cool if you’re dining in. The service was good.

Food is very spicy. Their base level of 3 as far as level of heat, is most others 5. The dishes that ate traditionally very hot (spicy) are just that. Be careful and get enough food(s) that will help balance or subdue the smoldering flavors. The food is very good. The Lamb Vindaloo was very deep and robust. Nice chunks of Lamb.

Stopped by for lunch before heading to DCA. The atmosphere is similar to other Indian restaurants I've been to in DC, very clean and quiet. The staff was helpful with suggestions and the food was well prepared and presented. I really liked their garlic naan, which was very fresh. the lamb curry was good too. the desserts were OK. Prices are comparable to other similar restaurants.

Got dinner here for takeout when I didn't feel like cooking and it hit the spot. The garlic naan is huge and was delicious, also got the chicken tikki masala - the chicken was a little tough and would've appreciated smaller chunks. Would enjoy trying more dishes! Super fast casual spot.

Ordered paneer tikka, mattar paneer and malai kofta on Uber Eats. Me and my partner who had this food, both of us got extremely bloated and I had to force throw up to relieve myself of indigestion. I don't know what's wrong with their food but something's wrong for sure.

My favorite Indian restaurant in DC. I've eaten here countless times over the years, both dine in and takeout, and just really love NaanWise. If you eat in, their cocktails are delicious and surprisingly affordable, but NaanWise is also the best for lazy movie night takeout. I eat here multiple times a month and it's delicious every time.

We had excellent north-Indian and fusion appetizers. I particularly appreciated the kid-friendly cheese naan for our lunch before the zoo. The pakoras and samosa were delicious, and the chai was an excellent, spice-forward diversion from the typical offering. The ordering experience was seamless: physical menus matched the online ordering system and dine-in service was prompt amid steady takeout orders.Kid-friendliness: Do try the cheese naan, it is a delicious invention!
