Food was great but it wouldn't have been as great without our server Jamie who was an absolute delight

Had such a great meal at Namak. The place has a cool, modern vibe, and the service was super friendly. The food was bursting with flavour — rich, bold, and perfectly spiced. Everything felt fresh and creative without being fussy. Definitely a spot I’d go back to for a fun dinner or date night.

Great customer service, some really creative takes on food items and delicious! We loved the fried cheese dish appetizer and the desserts were really creative takes on traditional middle eastern desserts. We had an amazing server who really helped us understand which dishes might pique our interest- dishes we hadnt considered before he pointed them out and which turned out to be our favorites.
Notes- Cauliflower dish was not phenomenal, salad was average.
Thank you for a great night!

I came here for dinner last night with a friend. The aesthetic is on point and what we ordered, the flavors hit so well from each dish. Would recommend this place!

Had the best restaurant week meal here. Great variety of options at a great price, including several gluten free options. The calamari and lamb shank were particularly phenomenal. Happy hour is very nice too! Definitely inspired me to come again for typical dining service. Our service was incredible, though I don't recall their name. A new favorite place!
What a great experience! I am a big fan of being comfortable and relaxed while eating- namak provided all that and much more. I’m a little tipsy but really wanted to write about my experience, I’m a hater too but not tonight! I forgot the wine tasting was worth every cent!!! Cheers.

Just celebrated my marriage anniversary and I must say - I’m impressed! The service was phenomenal. Not only did everyone make it a point to express their good wishes but Yovan is the sweetest - not too overbearing but always there when you need. My husband had the Sujuk and I had the spinach, feta, dill flatbread. It’s not your normal flatbread. The dough is so light but filling. And I’m not sure where they’re getting their dill from but it takes the food over the top! We also had the potatoes and beers. Perfectly cooked, perfectly seasoned, and just delicious!

No reservation. We had an impromptu date night in Adams Morgan.
We were promptly seated and enjoyed the service and delightful conversations with the employees: Jade, Jamie, and Elora.
My partner had the Braised Lamb Shoulder which was tender and full of flavor, perfectly complemented by the harissa-lamb jus.
The sides—abvieh balela, sweet corn, and brown butter carrots—added brightness, sweetness, and richness that made every bite balanced and memorable.
I had the Tavuk (sumac-marinated chicken thigh) which was equally impressive; juicy, well-seasoned, and served with a perfectly cooked rice pilaf and long hot pepper.
Both plates were thoughtfully crafted, generous, and delicious.
The Château Famaey Malbec Cahors 2020 Prestige is bold yet smooth; rich dark fruit, a touch of spice, and a silky finish.
A standout Malbec worth savoring!
A perfect spot if you’re looking for bold, flavorful dishes that feel both comforting and refined. Highly recommend!

My friends and I have been here several times this time we ate Sunday brunch which was delicious. We ordered Pikilia which is a sampling of their wonderful spreads with pita bread. I also got the green shakshuka. We had mimosas too. I also have to say the staff is always fantastic. They are so very friendly and accommodating. We just love Mia the bar manager who we’ve interacted with several times. Cocktails are so good. Please stop here and try them out. You will wish you had done so earlier.

Waiter was not friendly the cup had lipstick print on the lamb shoulder tasted like a frozen one not fresh and adana kabob was too spicy overall I wont go back to Namak and there was no rice in the menu
Disappointing 👎
If I could give zero stars, I would. The manager here is one of the rudest, most condescending people I’ve ever dealt with.
