This location without a doubt is the best Nandos location I've had the absolute pleasure of visiting during my time in DC. I visited DC over a year ago, and tried Nandos for the very first time and was absolutely blown away by the quality, affordability, and the options available, it was so good in fact, that my friends and I visited this location MULTIPLE times in a single weekend.
The atmosphere here is lovely, and everyone working here is friendly and genuinely cares about maintaining a well running and consistent establishment, the managers seem to be on duty and working just as much as every other employee and that is how it should be at a place like this in my mind.
I recently had the pleasure of returning to DC and was pleasantly surprised that this Nandos was just as good as I remembered it being a year ago, and I hope that it continues to be a staple of my DC visits in the future (we went more than once again and I have zero regrets). Do yourself a favor and check this place out if you can.

We got in and ordered at the counter. We had to select a table ourselves and grab our own menus from behind the serving table. Our food took a while to arrive and we watched it sit and wait for someone to grab it for a while. The food was solid, good chicken. Recommend the medium sauce and garlic bread. Unfortunately poor service put a huge damper on the overall experience.

Placed order online and I drove almost 20 minutes away just to arrive and be told there were no cooked wings and did I want to wait for them to cook more so of course no food for me because my lunch break doesn’t allow time for me to wait for wings to be cooked. As you can tell this is a hangry review
Had my first trip to this location tonight and it’ll also be my last. I decided to order at the front and was told a table number to wait at. After twenty minutes waiting for my food, I go in to check on the order; my sandwich was sitting out on the counter. Servers apologized for the delay and told me they’d get my mac ready first and bring it out. Sandwich and mac came out— no sign of my second side, fries. Finished my meal, went back in and had to ask for the fries to go. They had also been sitting out under the warming lamps. Servers just argued with and blamed each other for the mix ups and didn’t offer me anything other than a rushed apology. If this place wants to offer some form sit down dining, they should at provide the bare minimum quality and speed of service. Otherwise they should just move to full take out or self service.

When I arrived everyone was very welcoming. I felt like they've been waiting for me all my life. ? I glanced over at the kitchen and the cooks were just deep into their mastery of seasoning. Some young lady named Cindy S. came from the back and gracefully glided across the room and asked how could she help me. Cindy gave me a run through of the menu and within a minute I knew what I wanted and it wasn't on the menu as I looked deep into her eyes. Than 10 seconds after, I knew exactly what I wanted for lunch, so I ordered. ? I must say the food was delicious and Cindy was honestly a southern hospitality. I plan to come back soon.

1)Distracted and Delayed performance of server/Asst Manager??? 2) VERY MINUTE protein portion for the Chicken and Vegetables Bowl...VERY sad and disappointing, considering the meal amount spent!!! 3) Patio mosquito population took HUGE bites of my arms/legs...OUCH!!!! 4) Definitely will be my last visit to THAT location and terribly fearful of OTHER Nando’s in my area. I Will NOT be able to suggest in Good Faith, to my competitive walking Team, who take our daily protein intake and portions very seriously. The portion I was served, looked anemic and was fit, ONLY for a toddler…A fourth the size of an adult serving of a chicken breast, which carried a hefty price tag!!! JF Jefferson Chevy Chase, MD
