I’ve eaten here three times in the past two weeks and can’t stop telling everyone about it.
This is the neighborhood restaurant I’ve been dreaming about for years: no-frills, downright delicious food; generous portions and great prices; and kind and friendly staff.
Favorites so far: chicken pista korma, crispy palak chat, the spicy potatoes in the non-veg/veg Nanglo platter, the pistachio kulfi, and kesari kheer (saffron-infused rice pudding)
The mango lassi and desserts aren’t too sweet, savory dishes are well-balanced (not too salty), and all the meat is tender.

We ordered take out from Nanglo and loved it. After ordering from many Indian restaurants in H Street/Noma, this was our favorite yet. The portions are good and the food was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend.

Great addition to the neighborhood. The food was delicious and the service so nice. Could do without the TVs and loud phone ringing all the time. But despite that will definitely be going back!

Excellent food. We especially loved the sampler platter to try all of the Nepalese specials. Don't skip the butter chicken - it was absolutely delicious! Also very vegetarian friendly.

Excellent food, staff and ambience. The chicken momos were fabulous and transported us back home. We’re traveling with parents and they enjoyed the food a lot too.
Our server Badal and the rest of the team were warm and caring.
Good luck! We hope to come back soon.

Walked in with no reservation as a group of 7 and got seated right away! Wait staff was so friendly and helped guide us across the menu.
Highlights included: mango lassi mojito, garlic naan, biryani, paneer, lamb saagwala, and the butter chicken.
Everyone enjoyed their meal and we will be back!!

Great food and great prices. I split the samosas and the vegetarian platter for two with my sister. Everything was fantastic!
We had the veg thali and it was incredible. Everything was delicious. We also asked for everything to be spicy and they delivered with perfect spice level for us two Indians. The amount of food for the price we paid was a deal for being in DC! We’ll be taking our friends and family here for sure!

The most authentic Nepalese food in DMV area! Momo was juicy, perfectly cooked, and so delicious that it didn’t even need achar. I also loved how they cooked C momo in home made tomato sauce instead of ketchup! Everything was so perfect! Will definitely be back even tho I live in a different state hehe
PS everyone should try their mula ko achar i can bet on the taste and authenticity of it
