Nice dive bar up by the zoo! It's a very chill spot but has lots of seating (a very cute window spot) and is a great place to go watch sports or to go if you have a bigger group. They have cheap beer but also good draft options. We got a bucket of coors banquet for $16, and you get five of them so pretty killer deal. For sure a no frill place but our bartender was lovely and very attentive! Great spot to stop by if you're in the area or looking for a place to watch sports.

Stopped by this pub on our way from the Zoo Lights event and it was perfect. Great food, Great service, and tasty beer. We'll definitely come again next time we're in DC.

The bar was great until young patrons started to questions politics and the young customers started to get place hands on me and make me out to be the instigator. Shame n the bartenders for following the fictional storyline.

Good vibe, but can be a little packed oftentimes. The regulars here are pretty entitled, and the bartender would skip over us oftentimes to tend to them. Would prefer if our groups drinks could be done all at once instead of hopping back and forth

I had high hopes for this pub but was quickly let down. We were told immediately that we would have to order at the bar even though we were at tables. But hey, at least we were informed by the guy sitting by the door. I ordered the bratwurst w/fries that took a little over 30 minutes for them to make, even though the bar was nowhere full of people. The food was nothing to write home about but decent. And their beer selection was not impressive at all so I ended up getting wine.Everything was just ok until I went back to the bar to pay for my food and wine. It is too obvious that this restaurant lacks good customer service skills. I guess the bartender and another employee thought their conversation was so great that they had to ignore the fact that I had been standing there to pay for my meal; even after they both looked right at me. Neither of them stopped to see how they could help or if I needed something. So after a few minutes I finally interrupted them to ask for the check since, again their conversation was far too important to help a patron. I’ll find another pub in the DC area in the future.

Don't go to Nanny's for food. Maybe it's better if you just want to drink.

Pleasant neighborhood sports Bar. A warm & convivial place to watch the game of the moment. The burger was barely adequate, the fries bland, but a good selection of beer was available. They were quite shorthanded, one person did everything. To our amazement he dealt well with the 20 or so customers & we cannot fault anything about our service.

A nice local bar with a neighborhood vibe. The burger was delicious - definitely better than most. Moist and so flavorful. The tater tots are perfect moist inside, crunchy on the outside. The fish and chip were perfectly done. The place filled up during our meal and the bartender (who looked like he was the only one working) was fast on his feet, charming, and pleasant - attentive and welcoming. A really nice surprise.

We stopped at Nanny's for lunch and a drink in the afternoon. It was a bit chilly out and "Irish Pub" conjured thoughts of good food and warmth. I guess it was warm enough, but the food wasn't great. My fiancée's BLT arrived sporting some very burnt bacon. Like, I don't even understand how the kitchen considered serving that bacon. My Buffalo wings came out dry and unsauced. Both of these shortcomings were addressed when we asked the bartender for help. The wings, however, were overdone and dry. The fries were clearly from a bag. Overall just...not impressed at all. We won't return.

Best old bay style wings in the city. Great neighborhood bar with interesting beers on tap and a fun cozy vibe.

Nothing special. Fries are from a bag. The menu reads the Buffalo wings are "their take" on Buffalo wings, but it's not - the sauce is straight out of a bottle. My bacon on my BLT was also burnt so that was pretty lame. The bartender was very nice and brought me more bacon when asked. If you're looking for something unique or special, this isn't your place. But if you're looking for a beer and bar food and to watch the game, this could be your jam.

Was visiting DC for work and met a friend here. It was solid. The service was good and friendly. I ordered the wings, and they were also pretty good. Plus, they poured me several black velvets, which are always delicious. Highly recommend.

Irish pub with with both bar and table seating. I came here with my GF, her friend, and her sister. We all got different things, but we all agreed that the food was unspectacular. I got the wings (which they claim is their specialty). Our waitress was very friendly.

My favorite Irish pub in DC! (Sorry Duffy's) hope they're allowed to bring back outside seating soon.
