New Garden Carry-Out

I lived on Minnesota Ave for almost 10 years and this carry out was my go to carry out. Today I went in and ordered scallops and french fries for my husband. I asked them to fry the french fries hard and put salt, pepper and mumble sauce on them. When the order was complete, and I gave them to my husband, the french fries were soggy with mambo sauce on it. I was still in the parking lot so I walked back in and asked them to fry them hard with salt, pepper, and Mumbo sauce. They remade the french fries, and fried them hard like I asked, but did not put anything on them. For the third time, I walked back in there and said can you please put salt pepper and Mumbo sauce on my French fries. The lady behind the counter said oh my God ma’am what else do you need from us? And then started calling me all foul names and picked up her phone and took a picture of me. Then told me never to come back again. Do you know how many Carryout there are in this area? I will never go to that raggedy place again.

Always a 5 star. Don’t come in this place getting smart because she will put you in your place 😂 Food is always good, hot and did I say good!

I will not order food from this carryout nomore I ordered shrimp and broccoli and a broccoli and shrimp have no flavor and it is so nasty to order onion ring onion rings it's dry with no flavor to it

Honestly, I stopped ordering from this place because of the lack of customer service and how frustrating ordering food can be. Again, I do not want to take away from the food, however, I want to normalize being respected when spending your money at an establishment. So... Although the food is tasteful, the lack of service and stuffy atmosphere makes it hard to be a loyal patron.

Vegetarian options: There are many vegetable combinations you can order but only 6 items on the menu. Those are: Broccoli w. Garlic Sauce, Mixed Vegetables, Broccoli w. Brown Sauce or/ Oyster Sauce, Bean Curd w. Mixed Vegetables and General Tso's Bean Curd.

I did a call in order & specifically asked for no mushrooms or celery in my food. Upon receiving my order I noticed both items were in my food. When letting the lady behind the counter know of the mistake she proceeded to yell at me and cuss as if the mistake was not her fault.

She was extremely disrespectful and tasteless. Do better!

07/24/2024 me and a friend ordered food from here. Well we were have way through and noticed a damn roach in the food! ? my friend called up there to explain to them the issue, and was told to bring the food back so she could show her “Chef”, she traveled from Md (PG) bk to this side of town for the lady to try and give only half of the money back! Long story short she was able to get all of the money bk had she even though she had to explain to the lady how she regurgitated immediately after locating the bug in the food and again while driving to drop it off. STAY TF AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!

First time ordering, I ordered combination shrimp and chicken fried rice,steak and cheese egg rolls and bourbon chicken, was not happy with our meal, had no flavor

When I get there, she hand me my order, no soda and then tells me because I did not ask for the daily special and I ordered a jumbo cheeseburger with french fries which is the daily special that it didn’t come with a soda even though she charged me the same price
