I wish every business was run like this. Unbelievably impressive artists, quality cocktails and the best vibes you could ask for. But the cherry on top at Vegas Lounge comes from the passion and talent of our incredible performers!! This place is special because of the feeling and passion that comes from the musicians! Period end of story. I am so damn excited to come back!!!

They charged $15 dollars to get in. The band was ok but the singer was awful. He couldn't carry a tune at all. There were white people everywhere and I prefer more diversity. The only people of color was the band, the people that worked there and myself and friends. The bartender poured me a drink and it was literally half a shot. I switched bartenders and went with the black chick with locs and she made my drink much stronger. I hope they change bands and it's not always the same because i could have forgiven everything but the guy singing was just awful although he wouldn't know because there were drunk people dancing all over the place smh

Jackie is AWESOME

The neighborhood has gentrified and changed drastically over the years with high rise condos snuggling up against 3 sides of the old brick skin of the New Vegas Lounge. But this iconic home of rhythm and blues politely remains steadfast in its resistance to change. The house band effortlessly churns out jazz, Motown R&B and blues as it has done for years. Jackie, the smiling bartender is the granddaughter of Dr. Blues the founder of this joint in 1971. Tony, the doorman, keeps the order out front while folks young and old, from all walks of life enter the door into a treasured place where time stands still. Special places like New Vegas Lounge are getting more and more scarce, so give thanks that Dr Blues' legacy is still in good hands. Come out and enjoy this gem. We should all be thankful that this legend lives on.

Great place for the blues. The outside facet is red hot and so is the music. The blues has been apart of of Americana since before it's founding. Many of our fore father's where either slaves or slave owner's. Out of this history of oppression came what we know as the blues.@ it's heart the blues is a historic narrative of the African American's struggle to survive in a inhuman excistence not of their own choosing.Any one can feel the blues but only those who's historical narrative founded and grounded in slavery can clame it as their own. That trial by fire is the badge that can never be appropreated. That being said:"What happen's in the New Las Vegas Lounge stay's in the Lounge. Thank you very much.Viva Las Vegas.BoomBlack has just left the building.

This place is absolutely disgusting. We paid the $10 each cover as a bachelorette party, had fun talking to the bartender then went to a bar next door after staff told us we should come back later when it was more lively. When we attempted to reenter the bar as we had been told, the bouncer was rude and called us expletives when we questioned why we weren't allowed in. The bouncer then threw my friend's phone into the street as we attempted to escape into an Uber. I am from NYC and have literally NEVER seen behavior like this.
