Places like Newbig Wong hold people hostage in cities where everything else shuts early. They become city institutions be default. I made the mistake of asking that the vegetarian lo mein b a bit spicy. The noodles were fresh hence the two stars but not flavourful — the extra chillies had zero heat and were stale. I’d rather they said that no we can’t modify. It was lateish so I was the only customer and so they had no issues yelling or burping over my head. The hot & sour soup was okay.

Pad Thai is terrible and tastes nothing like pad Thai should. Also we put very basic requests in our order- like provide 2 sets of forks or chopsticks. They provided non of either.

Place is amazing. Anytime we get to DC we hit up this joint (usually late night after game concert) open til 3AM on weekends. Totally authentic native cuisine. Just Do It

I read a review that said won’t disappoint. I took a chance and ordered delivery. When you get Chinese food and don’t need soy sauce, that should tell you how great the food is, The best Ive had ☺️. Won’t Disappoint sums it up 👍🏾

Food was good. Not much of service after they took the order and brought food. The entrance was a little smelly. Two tables over with a party of 8 were super loud and we could hardly hold a conversation. 18% tip was added to a party of 4.

HORRIBLE. I asked for seafood noodles NOT deep fried noodles with seafood on the side. Super pricey and expensive, 50 dollars for beef and noodles? It tasted disgusting and the sides were super salty and gross. Threw away the leftovers, never ever coming back again would rather starve. 🤮
DO NOT GO - EXPENSIVE - HIDDEN FEES
We stopped at this place looking for a quick bite, and the food looked decent.
The food was alright, but on the expensive side.
We had the mongolian beef (which wasn’t the slightest bit spicy, but tasted alright, even though half the dish was onions) and the beef with mixed veggies (okay). The eggroll was oily and unseasoned.
Service was minimal, just quick and unfriendly. The servers kept staring at us throughout the meal.
When it got time to pay, we found out there was an 18% gratuity fee, and a 10% tax. When asked about the fee, just a short “it gets added automatically” was uttered. No further explanation was given.
The whole place feels like a scammy tourist trap - reading other reviews confirms that (including that they were CLOSED before by the US Health Inspection).
Conclusion - do not go.
