We had an amazing birthday meal at Nobu. The service was outstanding and the food was fantastic. We especially enjoyed the crispy rice with spicy tuna, shrimp tempura, and black cod. The bento lava cake arrived with a candle, and the doughnuts were delicious. We definitely over ordered on the sushi course, and will skip the vegetable tempura next time. It is pricey, but we left feeling like it was money well spent on a memorable occasion.
I found the bar cocktails to be great; I really enjoyed the spicy passionfruit margarita very much. Food was good; my favorite items was the black cod over by the tendeloin.
