Gorgeous restaurant with gorgeous food and great service. I had the sangria and replaced the noodles in my pasta dish with veggie noodles and they were excellent.

A fairly typical Italian dining experience — nothing that particularly stands out in terms of flavour, but nothing bad either.
I was excited to try their squid ink pasta, but it fell a little flat. The tomato sauce felt basic and it was noticeably under-seasoned — even adding salt and cheese at the table didn’t make much of a difference. The pizza was decent, but again, just that.
If you’re a fan of straightforward, unfussy Italian food, you’ll probably enjoy it.

We were really excited to try this place and so for valentines day my boyfriend made a reservation weeks ahead. When we got there, we were told there would be a 30 minute wait. After waiting the extra thirty minutes, we were walked to our table which was not a booth like my boyfriend had requested with the reservation. When we asked about it, the male host became aggressive towards us and started giving us a rude, unprofessional and intimidating attitude. He would not let me speak and told me “find a booth for me to seat you, are you blind” I would give this place negative remarks if I could really. Don’t expect their staff to keep their calm under pressure and pull through for a special occassion for you and book here if you want to feel like they’re doing you a favor by letting you eat there. Worst dining experience ever!!

So happy my boyfriend surprised me with north Italia for Valentines night dinner before going out. Everything we had on the $75 menu was delicious. And we were sat right away. With great service all around.

Beautiful place to have a Valentine's Day dinner. We had a preset menu. Which had new items on it that we loved. The vibe was a hit from the host stand staff to the dessert! Glad we found North Italia in DC!

Restaurant overbooked for Valentine’s Day and we were seated 30 minutes after our reservation time. Food was subpar and the pasta dishes were overcooked and lacked flavor. For $75 a person you’d expect a little better effort in preparing the food and to top it off they ran out of the dessert we ordered. Will definitely NOT be coming back

Reserved weeks in advance for Valentine’s Day. Upon arrival, we were informed there would be a 30–45 minute wait for a table, despite having a reservation. There was a noticeable lack of customer service and empathy throughout the situation, which was disappointing given the occasion. Overall, the experience did not meet expectations, and I would not recommend. Super disappointed.

Cacio e pepe pizza 👌🏼🤌🏼

The five stars is basically for that dish, though the steak was also excellent. Cooked perfectly temp and seasoning-wise.

If you love traditional Roman cacio e pepe, the pizza version might become your favorite food.

Service was solid. Ambience was a bit generic, but certainly didn’t detract from the overall experience, just not super memorable. I’d definitely come back.

Good placement and atmosphere but food is not the best.
Salad is too sweet + creamy cheese make the entrée quite heavy + oily bread
Pasta is too salty
Tiramisu is basic
Good service in general
Need more attention to quality of food before serving

We had a lovely experience regarding the food last night. Since I arrived I was hoping to get a really nice pizzas and that place was perfect for that. 🍕 was so delicious not to forget the Rigatoni so tasty 😋. Also the fried risotto balls with cheese was a perfect choice 🫶🏼. Slightly note for the service the waiter was between serving tables and bartending that made the wait a little long but that’s about it. Food and atmosphere was definitely worth it 🍝

The lasagna was not baked it seemed more like a soup with floating noodles globs of cheese and meat. The calamari was coated in an extremely crispy (overcooked) breading and I could not taste the calamari because the breading overpowered it. The salad was drenched in dressing that made the lettuce limp. The only thing that was appetizing was the Tiramisu. The service was acceptable but the waitress when asked details about a dish basically picked up the menu and read the description to me which I had already reviewed.
