THEY ARE CLOSED! For the reviews I decided to go there and I wasted my Uber trying to get there. Don't recommended at all

So glad I found this place - 3rd floor walk up - a nice quiet place for a solo lunch (I try to get peace away from the office when I can). Ordered lunch special - I got 2 veggie spring rolls with Ramen (Tonkatsu base with Pork) - good deal, tasty, and very satisfying (which I prefer to being full). Staff is attentive and friendly. Will definitely come back and maybe if I feel like some company I'll invite a coworker.

Absolutely amazing tofu banh mi. Incredibly nice staff. Cheap, fast, and delicious. Highly recommended.

OMG!!! The Mushroom Ramen was out of this world!! I have not had ramen this good since leaving Japan! If you are in the are definitely make this place a priority! The takoyaki was fabulous!! It is so hard to get good takoyaki and this was on point!!! The atmosphere was so cute and inviting! Don't miss this adorable spot.

Walk up to the 3rd floor was well worth it. Had been in DC for 3 days and was getting tired of bar food. This place does not have a liquor license so maybe you can bring your own? Was really in the mood for beef pho and this was perfect. Really enjoyed the generous portion of noodles and the broth was delicious. Also tried the beef bahn mi. Light and tasty. This place strikes me as a family run business. People speak Vietnamese which is a good sign. Given the location and lack of competition, this is going to be my go to place for beef noodle soup and a tasty Vietnamese sandwich!

I'm not sure why this place doesn't have more reviews. It is nice. It was quiet. The food was really good. It's a hole in the wall type place and you have to climb some steps to get there (past a Thai restaurant). Service took a bit, but it was lunch. If you like good food, good prices, and a nice atmosphere, this is the place for you. Come check it out.

This is a hole in the wall place. Stopped in to pickup a quick bite and head back to the office. Ramen on a cold day was perfect. I didn't wait long and was given a nice warm green tea while I waited. The bag was full of every little sauce and spice you could imagine including a low sodium soy sauce! I'll be back to try more options.

Delicious and reasonably priced banh mi in the heart of DC. I also tried their custard dessert, which of course was great (it's custard, that is universally good). It's flavored with orange peel and served with strawberries and whipped cream. They also have ramen and pho, I will have to try both in the future. I think they might not have all of their signage ready because the outside still labels the restaurant as the Japanese restaurant that was here before. It's on the third floor, up the stairwell from the Thai restaurant.

Was missing Kanji Kana and decided to stop by the building for the 100th time, expecting it to do be closed. To my surprise, the floor wasn't blocked off and the door was open! Oh, but it's called Nui now! Food is good. Just what I needed in my life.

Great new place! The salmon bento box was delicious! Everything item in the box was tasty. I especially love the seaweed salad. Will definitely go back!!
